I’ve always considered the EVA Units some of the most unique Mech Suits around, given that there more “Human Looking” Anatomy, compared to normal Armor Based that Mechs normally have. Anyhow, great mod! I love the RG Eva series, and this one looks amazing! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! It's really challenging with this build cause you can't just stick something on her and call it a day. The humanoid feature actually made her harder to design than usual but I'm glad you like it! 😃
because EVA indeed isn't a mech/mecha. it's never considered as mecha in the lore altho the genre of the anime itself is mecha. that's why EVAs looks so "humanoid", because they're indeed a biological being with a cockpit slapped into their chest

So I just found your channel, and was like "wow this guy makes awesome models " then I went to your other videos and found my out you did Eva unit-02. So I watched it and loved it Evangelion is my favorite. Love the original and figuring out the rebuild- continuation of the original kinda thing, idk... But anyway I love what you did with Asuka Evangelion I can't wait to watch the other ones, your version of unit-02 has a punk rock kinda mega man canon feel.. idk how to describe it but I feel like Asuka would rock it!!!!

Reminds me of the rebuild version of the Unit-04. Instead of just being silver, it has a much of red lines around the armor and has two giant cannons on both arms. I think they're cannons, but I could be wrong

Though it was my favorite part of your videos, I noticed many new gunpla content creators have been cashing in on ASMR builds. Though your ASMR part is only at the beginning of your videos, I'm guilty to say that I tend to only watch those parts and skip the entire video; missing all that amazing customizing talent. I know that everyone will react differently, but I hope you stick to this format :D I came for the ASMR, but now I'm staying for the entire video! More power to you Justin!

I love the way you presented, the coloring looks so adapted. it seems like you make it less from original color of EVA 02 (RED) and you make that beyond from what original looks like. You got improve from since I watched your 1st video. good job!
Another excellent build. Turning the left arm into a cannon was a bold choice, though in a combat situation it runs the risk of negatively affecting the Eva Unit's combat ability should the cannon be destroyed and it would render the use of any additional weapons or equipment to a limited capability. Than again I imagine that it would be a simular weaspns system used by the XXXG - 01H Gundam mobile suit codenamed: Heavyarms. In episode three "Five Gundams Confirmed" of the anime Gundam Wing, after exhausting its main gatling weapon's ammunition, the weapon was ejected from the left arm, revealing the the mobile suits left arm and hand were intact.
This is bizzare and my the most beautiful piece of art I ever saw. I'm currently working on a candy coated eva-01 and yours put mine to shame UwU. Don't worry I'll eventually love mine more😆, I built it anyways! Never stop building y'all!!!
I actually made a huge mistake in doing my SD Valkilander. Atm since I don't have an airbrush, I'm using Testor's Enamel spray cans and the red I used came out absolutely terrible. So my Dad mentioned we could soak them in paint thinner to fix them and try again. BAD IDEA, we partially melted the kit. It was my first custom, damage was gonna be done. We managed to save the parts, and did some very thin coats of paint to change it's color a bit. But I also realized how much I need the panel liner you use. Ended up having to toss 2 brand new black gundam markers. All in all, I'm learning, but it's slow going. Wanna get a good technique down before I start the custom I've been planning.
Damn man, you put some effort into this video !!! Well, reward .... it rocks. I'm not a fan of EVA but the kit you customized rocks like that. And from a technical point of view, your video editing and scripting has clearly taken it to the next level. So, hats off!
