Little tip: The fish follow the barges. Its called a "Barge Bite" As they go along it kicks up food and bait fish off the bottom. It works to catch bass and especially large blue cats. Awesome video man! 👊

@@lojofishing I've experienced this several times, even if you're not close to the boat, it seems like the sound of the motors triggers fish to start eating.
I did my homework 2 months ago a bought the deeper pro+. It works pretty dam good. I like to use it in a new lake or a river. Cool video bro

What are you using to cast this thing? I bought one Saturday.
I'm looking for any and all video on how to use it. I bought a spinning reel just for the deeper but I cannot cast it worth a damn! It's a 7 foot MH fast action rod. I used 30lb braid. I was worried about spooking fish so I went to take off the deeper and it just fell off right at my feet. If I had tried to make one more cast it would have flown off into the lake!

You gotta try out the mapping feature that gives you an exact topo map of the bottom. You can also go back and rewatch where your bobber was when you marked bottom changes structure bottom comp etc

I use my deeper when I can’t catch anything. I feel i would waste time looking for them then catching. Yes, its great to get the load down of the body of water.
It's really pupular product in Latvia. Especially for those, who want sonar but not for 2500$ 😀😀😀

I'm pretty sure but I think the you can turn the "Fish ID" feature off. I would recommend doing so and learning how to read the arches. The "fish ID" will show a leaf as a fish. It lies. You also can't tell the difference between a ball of bait fish and a single or group of fish. Learning to read a sonar with out the "Fish ID" will help you catch more fish in the long run.

It does, I just had the fish icon turned on for aesthetic purposes lol. You can go with the straight up sonar view with the arches that represent fish

It has all of the same settings it would onna traditional sonar. And the mapping tech and replay is the best part.
Interesting concept now as I am an older guy bank is more to my liking still got the boat but exploring the other ways to get out and fish
yeah I enjoyed it very much
I solely bank fish and I am on track to catch 300-400 bass this year. I have an observation and question. As I travel up and down the bank, I throw in a half moon pattern, maybe 8-12 times in each spot. If I do not catch anything or at least get a bite, I move to the next spot. This sonar appears to be a waste of time for me. By the time you set it up and log in and check it, I could be halfway done with my half moon in that area. Can you tell me the area the sonar picks up? It appears to just be under the bobber. Thanks

Nice video thanks for this....we are aqua farmers and we grow prawns , say we normally cultivate about 200k prawns in 2.5 acres. My question is if I use this in my pond..will this help me to count number of prawns in an specific pond area of about 2.5 to 3.5 acres

Is it safe to use the deeper pro with your main line? attach it to mainline without tying a knot so line slides through the deeper pro's screw opening.
Interesting
I use 25 lb test braid on a medium heavy rod then tie on a heavy swivel with a Palomar knot and just snap it on the Deeper. The swivel has a more rounded attachment point for the line than the deeper attachment bolt so I don't have to worry about fraying on the edge of the deeper attachment. If I have to walk some distance, I can also quickly take it off until I get there. I cut and re-tie (as recommended by Deeper) the swivel each time I go back out just to eliminate any possible fraying.
