I'm a huge fan of yours Klowny, and I appreciate all that you do with these videos. I just did the plugs on a 2011 Impala with a 3.5 engine. No need to remove the motor mount and pull the engine forward. Remove the 4 bolts that hold the coil pack to the mounting bracket and remove the coil pack. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts that hold the mounting bracket to the intake/head and swing it out of the way. Provides plenty of access to the rear plugs/wires.

Lambchop said - "Let me in its cold outside!" The camaro looks easier to change spark plugs on. Keep them coming - gave me ALOT of insight on how peeps change FWD spark plugs!

They should make the engineers do a week on R&R.....see if they would rethink their designs.

Keep some of those long rubber boots and use them to install the plugs and get them out when they are loosened.😊 Add dielectric grease on the inside of the plug boots and ceramic part of the plug for easier removal of the boots in the future.

Not too bad. Really like the intro!

I assume those were the original plugs & wires on that Chevy Impala? Those wires were the original numbered 1 through 6 as installed by the GM Plant? Those wires were dry & brittle hence a few of the plug boots broke off. I have seen the plugs & wires on a 2003 Chevy Impala 3.4 Liter V6 engine removed & replaced without motor mount bolts removed & strap adjusting engine while leaving ignition coil alone not removing it! However you did a good job on replacing the spark plugs & wires on the engine.

If you drop the transmission the back plugs are accessable.

Always check the gap. I've received plugs with the gaps waaaaay off. Happens during shipping. 🤜🏿🤛🏿😎

Not sure it matters but it bugs me when people just put a glob of dielectric grease there. Then when you put the plug in it gets on the plug terminal and between the plug wire connection and being an insulator I'd imagine it'd have to have some sort of negative affect on power transfer
