I know right. I said the same thing. I just got done creating a new character... that majority of these mods won't fit right with. SOOOOO... on to creating yet another new character! lol. It's things like this that makes me very thankful for Mod Organizer!
I've been gone from Skyrim since September of 2013, I've come back to find that Skyrim still has an impressive modding community. And Brodual now has 161k subscribers? Good job guys keep up the great work!
I am using or have used every mod on that list. They are all great. Skyrim still going strong all these years later. Its really become so much bigger than sum of its parts. Which is so awesome. Keep it up, keep modding, keep reviewing mods. Hopefully we'll still be tuning in every week in 3 more years.
Dawn of Whiterun is really nice. Does an excellent job at making the city actually feel like a trading hub it was supposed to be. It's the one mod I cannot abandon even if it gives me a performance drop(My PC rig isn't exactly suitable for gaming)
Jk's mods are the most overrated s*** I've seen IMO. There's nothing lore-friendly about his city overhauls, he just throws excessive flora and trees everywhere without any concern for whether it even fits to the Hold region's environment. A dwarven toy in Markarth, absurdly titled ropes in Riften, green flora in whiterun (for a city that's in a freakin' tundra). There's no reasoning behind any of it.His Windhelm overhaul is the only one that comes close to being decent... slightly decent. You people complaninig about performance? Yeah, that's what's dropping your performance. The effin' flora and clutter. Because the cities in Skyrim are supposed to be botanical gardens or something, right?
And I think we owe you guys, brodual, a thanks for being incredibly indepth and mature with your mod selections. There are plenty of 'other' youtubers (two in particular) who cover skimpy female mods. I love how you take in to account the full width of talent on Nexus.
Thanks for giving Moon and Star a runner up mention in the quests category! Can't complain about coming in behind something on the scale of Wheels of Lull. Trainwiz, man, how does he work?
Moon and star is a real gem. One of the most seamless mods I've ever played. If I had not remembered the name of the mod I would of never known it was not in the vanilla game.
You guys missed a very underrated magic mod thats lore friendly and overhauls the college of winterhold with the best and most balanced spells I have ever seen, not to mention the ACTUALLY good looking spells called aetherius magic
I knew of most or even all of these but Brodual does a much better job at making them sound interesting than many of the mod's own descriptions do... I skipped over a bunch of these because the description was like "make skyrim for better game please enjoy to you", now I know what they actually do and must check a few out!
Very clever to link to your review videos instead of directly to the mods. It looks like you're about to get at least another 8 views from me. lol Love the video and love the channel. Keep up the awesome videos!
This is a wonderful channel!!! It's really nice to see that you add some mods previously shown in other videos, because it gives you an idea on how to combine the mods and also a way to see which mods are compatible with others. Keep it up!!!!
One with Nature has it's flaws, I found that defensive AI was the same as bear's regular AI, and setting hostile things like bears and wolves to friendly will cause them to still follow you as if hostile when on horseback.
I love your skyrim mod review/spotlight videos, thanks to your videos my skyrim experience has only gotten better :D I thank you for the work you do and have subscribed :3
Hey Brodual, do you think you guys would ever do a modding tutorial/guide for Skyrim, on overhauling the visuals fully as well as the best mix of content mods? I hope you guys do, it's confusing following S.T.E.P
I would like a mod that gives voice to the common "Think To Yourself" messages. It could be able to accept recorded sound files and have an interface that easily allows you to organise which files correspond to which messages. Modders with experience in voice acting or access to good equipment could make different voice profiles available for download, or you could record them yourself. The end result is, whenever a message is triggered, the voice plays instead, like your character thinking to themselves or out loud. This would further reduce UI clutter and make for a more immersive experience. An expansion could even involve voiced prologues, if you're role playing a character or have a backstory or something.
Yessss, that was my favorite, too. Plus: it still gets updated and there will coma a massive addon. I also would like to mention the Interesting NPCs. I know its not new, but it got a lot of updates last year and is still in under my best 3.
10:21 I think the Renamer mod is particularly useful for reaming containers in my character’s home or College dorm room, so I can more easily keep track of my stuff.
Allsome recap. I have not played in the last year and a half do to playing ESO and am ready to get back in. Great to see all the new mods out there. Thanks
I was expecting Imperious to be on the list. It's definitely a hidden gem and underappreciated. I love that it makes the racial abilities actually useful
I really like how the immersive sounds - compendium mod sounds, but i have one problem with it. The walking sounds would probably get on my nerves after a while, so is there any way to remove that?
in the vanilla settings for audio you can lower footstep volume on a separate slider. I haven't tested it with this mod but I'm sure you'll be able to lower the volume of footsteps like that
I really feel like for an immersive sound mod it breaks the immersion quite a bit by having it make the scraping metal Noice when drawing swords because in real life when drawing a sword it would make no sense since is it did make a metal scrape noise it would mean metal were scraping against the blade therefor dulling it :/
9:05 - what the mod for animation shadow? And do not tell me mod, which adds some animation for the main character in moment 11:01? For example, to play the lute, flute and so on
I will just leave this here, since many will probably think as I did: the warmongers armory is indeed a fantastic armor mod, but you will notice on the mod page it requires THREE esps just to have all the armors, as well as adding the items to the levelled lists, which for some bizarre reason is an esp too? Well, anyway, I tried merging the three files with TESVedit without changing the formIDs, and it works perfectly! Like i said, I am leaving this here as the three esp requirement might be a put off for those with large mod lists, this can at least cut it down a bit :)
>Be me >Recently got Skyrim SE for Xbox One >Never modded before getting the game (in fact, never owned a gaming PC) >Naturally, mod the game to all hell >Couldn't remember for the life of me what the name of Familiar Faces was after seeing it in a Brodual video a while ago >Spend 20 minutes looking for it on the channel before finding this video and remembering >hype.jpg >searches for Familiar Faces >Not on Xbox One yet >Rest in fucking piss me
I wish I had a pc capable of playing skyrim that i might take advantage of the almost upsetting amount of amazing mods available. There is truly something great in a game that gives players the tools to enjoy it exactly as they see fit. God fucking bless you, bethesda
Does real shelter affect vampire sunlight weakness? If you don't know/remember, vampires health. magicka, and stamina are reduced in sunlight, and don't regen overtime (unless you have an additional effect such as mage robes). It happens all the time outside during the day. But if real shelter works the way I hope it does, then as a vampire, if your stats are low, you can stand in the shade and regen all your stats before continuing.
I really enjoy the Uchiha Clan Mod. One can pick Uchiha as their race and then unlock powers of the sharingan based on the number of humanoid/human kills. Many jutsus (spells) you can get have similar powers to the vanilla shouts; however, once you unlock the mangyeko sharingan you receive all new powers: amaterasu, susano'o (with different stages), and tsukiyoumi while still being able to use regular sharingan. Players can choose between different paths of the sharingan: Sasuke's path (Chidori [regular/range/AoE], Dragonflame Jutsu, and others), Itachi's path, Tobi's path (once mangyeko is reached: teleport to kamui dimension, teleport others to kamui dimension prison, teleport to an npc), Shisui's path (ability to make any npc stop fighting, become your follower, or commit suicide [some pull out a dagger and kill themselves, others just drop dead]), and Madara's path (fireball jutsu, great fire annihilation). Tobi and Madara (Sasuke with a plug-in) are able to awaken the rinnegan, which then grants powers like Universal Pull (Bansho Tenin?), a powerful cannon, rinne rebirth (without killing yourself). Itachi and Shisui are able to use the izanagi, which creates a clone of the player that receives the killing blow, while the player returns to full health and becomes invisible for a few seconds; the izanagi also blinds one of your mangyekos (only for a day/can be wait off), as such susano'o can't be used for the rest of the day, while amaterasu may be. Continuos use of the mangyeko causes your screen to begin tunneling, and will stay that way till you complete the task of taking on the only other Uchiha and stealing his eyes to get the eternal mangyeko sharingan. All sharingan/mangyeko/rinnegan have textures that replace your eyes while activated and disappear when deactivated. Very fun for a Naruto fan and even those who couldn't give a damn about manga/anime.
Great. Another 15 mods to install.
I know right. I said the same thing. I just got done creating a new character... that majority of these mods won't fit right with. SOOOOO... on to creating yet another new character! lol. It's things like this that makes me very thankful for Mod Organizer!
Yea I'm still installing mods :/ hopefully my game doesn't crash lol
Phileezy88 Install the Sharpshooter Skyrim mod it's excellent
Get to it!
Anyone else find his voice nice and soothing
No. He talks like he's been reading NLP books. It sounds unnatural

+Liberty Prime I do! That's one of the reasons why I barely watch any other mod reviews lol
+Liberty Prime hes a robot disguise as a human

It has truly been a good year in modding. Let's see what 2015 has to offer...
Honestly old ass mods are usually the best because they can have YEARS of updating and feedback
Will you cover familiar faces after its redone? I would really appreciate it.
Most likely. :)
Brodual is there familiar faces on the workshop? Because ido'nt really trust Nexus Filles and folders.
There's no reason to not trust the Nexus...
ImSirPanda It's more complicated and Steam is Gaben and you know i can trust him.
Pall Plays I pity you.
Finally going to get back into Skyrim after a huge break.
I hope Bethesda is paying attention to your channel for the next Elder Scrolls, Brodual.
Great video guys, and thanks for the spotlight.
You just earned yourself a subscriber !
JK's skyrim are too clutter filled to be enjoyable.
How?
Dawn of Whiterun is really nice. Does an excellent job at making the city actually feel like a trading hub it was supposed to be. It's the one mod I cannot abandon even if it gives me a performance drop(My PC rig isn't exactly suitable for gaming)
Definitely agree.. prefer the "Dawn Of..." series better as it makes practical improvements without so much pointless clutter.
I found it very cluttery as well, disabled a bit of stuff to keep what I liked.
Jk's mods are the most overrated s*** I've seen IMO. There's nothing lore-friendly about his city overhauls, he just throws excessive flora and trees everywhere without any concern for whether it even fits to the Hold region's environment. Because the cities in Skyrim are supposed to be botanical gardens or something, right?
Can't wait for Top Ten of 2015

I want it too.
You mean the thumbnail?
This comment is here so that if anyone reply's I'll get a a notification.

Fantastic video! Good to see proper acknowledgement for these mod authors :)
One with Nature has it's flaws, I found that defensive AI was the same as bear's regular AI, and setting hostile things like bears and wolves to friendly will cause them to still follow you as if hostile when on horseback.
I think it's because they are hostile to your horse.
I love your skyrim mod review/spotlight videos, thanks to your videos my skyrim experience has only gotten better :D I thank you for the work you do and have subscribed :3
Every time I go off skyrim I end up watching a brodual video and going back to it
I can’t wait to see the best mods of 2022!
13:16 That's okay, I didn't really want to sleep tonight.
Great job on the modlist btw
Lovely mods! Also...that face at the end...omg my sides
Brodual review means your mod is quality
Hey Brodual, do you think you guys would ever do a modding tutorial/guide for Skyrim, on overhauling the visuals fully as well as the best mix of content mods? I hope you guys do, it's confusing following S.T.E.P
Do all of these mods work at the same time? I'm wondering if the Immersive Sounds work with the new armors etc. and other animations.
I would like a mod that gives voice to the common "Think To Yourself" messages. It could be able to accept recorded sound files and have an interface that easily allows you to organise which files correspond to which messages. hoping for a Top Skyrim Mods of 2015. And thank-you for all the mod review work you do! - long time viewer
Personally, Legacy of the Dragonborn was my favorite mod in 2014.
Agreed. Just so satisfying to see my progression through the game recorded in a visible manner.
Yessss, that was my favorite, too. Plus: it still gets updated and there will coma a massive addon. I also would like to mention the Interesting NPCs. I know its not new, but it got a lot of updates last year and is still in under my best 3.

You and me should get a pint brodual also thanks for the hard work you put into your vids. I believe your the best skyrim mod reviewer on you tube
I've been waiting a year for this video now!

I know it's an old video but.... YOU'RE USING REAL ROADS!!!! The one mod I can't play without!!!
Anyone still watch these? I do...
9:18 the stones look so good, like they actually have depth. is there a few mods I can look up to get this? Thanks

I think your on the wrong channel
I've been waiting for this.
That face at the end... priceless.
And now let's wait for Enderal ^^
Hello and welcome to Brodual..
Already getting ideas for my next play through
Liked immediately as I saw the outro dance
"The Wheels of Lull" is such an awesome mod!
Aside from the awesome mods he reviews, most of which I use, I just watch these videos just to hear this guy talk.
Hey Brodual, thx for post up this Skyrim Videos, i really like to ser those awesome mods And everything, it does make the game funner. Thx.
the sword of ancient tongues looks like a paddle
I really like how the immersive sounds - compendium mod sounds, but i have one problem with it. The walking sounds would probably get on my nerves after a while, so is there any way to remove that?
Dude your profile pic is amazing :'D
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
in the vanilla settings for audio you can lower footstep volume on a separate slider. I haven't tested it with this mod but I'm sure you'll be able to lower the volume of footsteps like that
That dance man lol
I'll try Perkus Maximus once I'm starting over.
First can you get these on steam and second that video was awesome! You gained another subscriber

Something tells me that you're using high quality HD textures on these videos. 4K?
One of my favorite Mods that came out was Winstad Mine. A great way to make money and to work on smithing.
13:09 Did that screen remind anyone else of the PS2 memory card menu?
Interesting NPCs will always be my favorite mod. Always.

Oh no;( i love your mods

AAYYEE!!! that bubble head at the ending tho...lol
Dude Brodual HAS SUCH A BEAST ASS PC!
What's his specs?
idk but to be able to record at 60+ FPS with all the mods that he has and uses with the emb's and shit It has to be a beast.

thought i should mention that the link at the end of the video to the immersion playlist links to horses instead
Immersive Sounds is a fantastic mod, the world feels a bit lifeless when I don't have it honestly.
I don't have a PC, I have an Xbox ( I know I hate myself too) But I will be getting a PC, I was wondering how many mods you can install to your PC?
There's no real limit, but the more you add, the more your performance will drop.
Skyrim's engine has a limit of 255 mods loaded at a time.
Wehavecookies
255? MIND BLOW
Rogerio Cardoso
and if you reach the cap, just try to merge multiple mods into one to free some 'slots' and start searching for mods again ^^

What's with the backwards axes in the left hand? 5:42 and 8:39
Ahhhh, Inigo. Made me laugh my head off. Literally. After I finished one of his jokey loading screens, I was fighting a boss then got decapitated.
What I really want to know is what mods did you use in the outro to make the guy's head big and to make him dance :D
Does real shelter affect vampire sunlight weakness? the immersion link at the end of the video takes me to the horses playlist. Just to let you know
What ENB was he using around 6:05???
Enhanced camera looks great
With unlocked grip can you 1 hand the bloodskall blade and still shoot the wave?
Awesome video!! Thank you very much!! :>
Horse and Immersion have the same link at the end of the video
What happened to Dalm? Was there some video I missed about this?
immersion link goes to horse/mount page
Dat end dance, though.
People, please tell me, how does this armor mod called on 4:25 min?
The only probably that scares me with adding new mods is conflicts I don't know if I already have a mod that does the exact same thing :D
sadly the enhanced camera mod is no longer available :(
