- After spending a couple weeks on Greek islands such as Mykonos, Paros, Milos & Ios, we reached the last stop of our Greek adventure: Santorini, where we stayed at the 3 best luxury hotels the island has to offer! We hope you guys enjoy our Santorini Vlog!
We started our week at the trendy Cavo Tagoo Santorini, the sister resort of the world's most photographed and Instagrammed hotel: Cavo Tagoo Mykonos. After a few nights we moved to Grace Santorini, an Auberge Collection hotel, where we found classic luxury and spectacular views on the Skaros rock. We ended our week at Andronis Exclusive's newest property, Andronis Arcadia, a modern boho design hotel, where we weren't treated as guests, but as family.

Hi, I was in September last year at the Grace Hotel in Santorini. Amazing hotel. Of course I did the hike to the mountain but I could not reach the top of the mountain since I could not find where to climb to the top. One day I stopped by to visit Cavo Tago for their amazing pool ... thanks for another great video that reminded me beautiful days from last year. Greetings from Tel Aviv Israel.

What type of camera do you recommend when traveling?
Really depends on what you're looking for! We don't mind travelling with a full-size camera with interchangeable lenses (sony A7II, link is in the description), but if you want something very lightweight, the vlogcam we use (Sony ZV-1, link in the description as well) is very nice too for both photography and video.

Is oia too touristy in august ? Deciding between a few nights in Oia or at Nikki Beach.
Santorini in general is very touristy in August! But it’s still worth it! The perks of staying in Oia is that you can wake up very early to explore without any people!

I’ve been following you guys on Instagram for along time and finally now On UA-cam , is it exhausting to do the videos ? I recently started UA-cam I’m still new and I was wondering , thanks for sharing
It's definitely a lot of extra work. Still getting the hang of editing, but we put multiple hours/days of work into one video. It's sometimes frustrating because posting on Instagram is much less time-consuming and much more people get to see our content, but we really love UA-cam and it's definitely something we will continue doing, even if only a handful of people watch our videos🥰
@@laurandnicolas yes I think the important is to keep going and not give up, I congratulate both of you , you are amazing and I know that it takes lots of time and effort. Especially that in UA-cam you need to get 4000 hours to be monetized that’s a bummer but I believe one day you will make it

Which was your favorite hotel out of the 3?
They all have their strengths and weaknesses. There wasn't really one standout. We wrote a blogpost about the things we liked and didn't like at each property, so you might want to check that out! I'll link it in the description below!

Nice video the editing is good certainly beautiful hotels and good food.
The second time I watched thispretended that I was a hotel owner, and from that perspective it didn’t look like I would want people with your attitude to review a hotel that I own … certainly not if I’m giving you a few days free food and lodging. I say this because several times in the video you talk about just having lazy days, not wanting to blog, and not feeling like making any effort even though your deal with the hotels are to take a certain amount of pictures, but why just deliver the minimum that they require? Is this whole thing about getting free lodging or is it about giving good quality reviews? If you guys were very serious about this why aren’t you just writing for Condé Nast Traveler magazine, or some other big travel magazine that will send you to these hotels all expenses paid? It’s very confusing what your objective is.
By the way I’ve been to all of these places and have taken photographs so we’re just as amazing even though I’m not a professional photographer. With such breathtaking scenery and a decent camera anyone can take amazing photos with very little effort. Far too often we give lots of credit to the photographer and the technology be a camera but in reality it is the architects painters and the natural scenery that is the real star in the photo. If you think I’m just being a whiny person, I have traveled on low budgets and high budgets and have worked all over the world in motion picture production,, after seeing your video it seems like you guys are just sort of doing a secret little con game on the hotels, delivering the absolute minimum and receiving the absolute maximum you can get out of these. What do you do for an encore? Ouch
A UA-cam review wasn’t even part of the deal with these hotels. We generated over 10 million video views on Instagram for these hotels and tens if not hundreds of bookings. I’m pretty sure the hotels in question didn’t mind :-). Also, we don’t write for Condé Nast Traveler magazine because our English is pretty average and we were both blessed with the writing ability of a 5 year old. 😂
