      Accurate! But if I may, I've got a minor correction/thing to add, "all of her expenses paid" by the hard work of others (Tax Payers), and to be 'taken care of' by others. (Corrections guards, nurses, and other staff)
      She may not have every whim attended to as she wished, but I hope she enjoys _all_ that prison life has to offer 🙄 I hope it was worth what she took from the world and her family. 😒

      It's actually a severe mental health disorder called *Munchausen-by-Proxy*, where a caregiver seeks attention and sympathy by intentionally making their dependent(s) sick... 😢 These are classic cases, and so I very highly doubt that actual murder was ever the intention (evidenced by any other lack of motive, insurance policies having lapsed, etc). It just wasn't very well known back when these cases happened, and it's still not very well understood to this day. It's incredibly sad, really....

      You are right. Also I’ve watched programs where psychologists/psychiatrists analyse murderers and identify all the signs that were there from birth, poor parenting, cruelty to animals, etc, etc. Yet some of these murderers had been convicted, served light sentences and then were released to kill others. It’s great being wise after the fact but if they are so wise as to be able to diagnose psychopathic behaviour then why were they released from custody.
      If the answer is “They have served their sentence” then that is ridiculous. Comparing release of dangerous criminals to an industrial situation where a machine without safety guards kills or maims operators it isn’t an adequate remedy to just stop using the machine for a number of years is it?

    Too many times I watch these shows and the government spends millions and millions of dollars hauling some guy from state to state so every small-town prosecutor in the country gets to put his name in the file!!

    so when you live in the city where this happened and your mom shows you the two places where one she knocked on the door to get help but then left and two where she used to live and also where she died on the doorstep . then you watch a badly done movie about this story and hear on detective show after detective show you get tired of it and think omg not the marie hilley story again! lol still if you haven't heard of it its interesting and she was a horrible person. the movie shows more of what happened while she was on the run she was just as horrible of a person then pretending to be her own twin sister. lol i hate this story now!

    With these unexplained symptoms the Dr.s should search for poison. Arsenic, thallium, etc. When the person starts getting better in the absence of the poisoner, that's a huge sign. As is dr. shopping. Severe stomach pain and flu symptoms are classic arsenic signs. As are the fingernail marks. Hair can tell dr.s exactly when and how many times the arsenic has been administered. Higher than avg levels are telling too.

    • @johnnabuzby6103
      @johnnabuzby6103 3 роки тому +1

      @Flavia Renevey They wrap biological samples in paper because, unlike plastic bags or wrapping, paper allows the sample to breathe, so to speak; this allows the sample to dry out and not develop mold or mildew that might destroy or contaminate any DNA that might be contained in the samples. When they get to the laboratory, they then are able to use plastics for testing purposes. Hope this helps clarify the reasons for the use of paper versus plastic. 😃😀👋✌

      @@flaviarenevey6719 It's hard to understand if you're speaking of placing the hair samples into plastic containers for testing, or for storage. If you mean while they're testing, well, they can't very well test them or add digest buffers, sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, or any other liquids in the paper wrap; it has to be in plastic or glass then. If you're speaking about storing the samples in plastic, that's a different story. I think if the paper wrapped sample is stored in plastic, it's not a problem, since air can still circulate around the sample. If not, then I agree with you about the contamination.
