How To Stretch A Baseball Hat

Here is how to stretch baseball hat to make it bigger to fit your head. Fitted wool baseball hats can shrink if you wash them. To resize a baseball hat so it is big enough to fit, deflate a kids size soccer ball, put the hat on it and pump it up. Let the baseball hat sit overnight with the ball on it, and it will stretch out to fit in the morning. That is the easy way to stretch and resize a baseball hat.

Hat stretch pro-tip: This method works great...but use a different kind of ball. A soccer ball has too many seams and can explode. Happen to me last week. Middle of the night we heard loud pop. Scared the crap out of us. A small basketball or playground/four square type ball works best.

Steam will aid in the process as well as allow the hat to keeo the reshaping for a longer period of time. I like this idea better than a "hat stretcher"
