Instead of fabricating the cigarette ash tray, why not just Velcro the wood grain. I use it for cell phone mounts and it easily comes off if you don’t like it
Personally I think it'd look cleaner if you did slightly thinner wood and wrapped it with the same leather as the interior. Yeah, I know it's hidden but still.
Franz brought me!! Exactly what I needed to see for my wagon setup.
Thanks for bringing us along on the build! I cant wait to see your channel blow up man, the content is seriously good!
Franz is the shit! He guiding me along with my W124
Can't wait to see the wagon aired out
Looks great fred
I absolutely love bagged stuff dude
Been looking at buying a bagged OBS off of one of my buddies just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet
yo fred, underneath your instal you can store some airlines, teflon, and other spareparts... a road side reparation kit for the air
Not sure if it's too late but just take the metal part out of the ashtray and see if you can hide the controller........? ;)
With the price of lumber nowadays, it probably would've been cheaper to have that mount made out of carbon fiber. 😂😂😂
The ashtrays are all over ebay fred
Definitely try not to bend the wood trim it cracks easy. Mine did anyway. Do a good job so I can copy it on my wagon lol

I sent you a DM of the company that makes custom remote holders, or modifies existing center console

Is the compressor soft mounted also ok just to the board. If I missed that part
The compressor comes with little rubber feet to mount it. So it comes with a little bit of dampening
