The best years of my life, as my Dad, Roy King had the old blue and cream Bedford pickup truck and I had the privilege to see the races on the back of it! I even drove it around the circuit into the centre! Favourite drivers were 128/628...Kevin Stack #1 Ian Perkes, Alistair Buchan... I remember going to get autographs and a sneaky pint! Yep me to, loved that place n spent many a wkend on Tuesday night up there n also remember all the drivers lined up in the bar waiting to get paid at the end of the night... me and Sarah bowden grew up in n around the pits watching our dad's race. Is a Really Missed track by many of the Stock Car Family ❤❤
Wow amazing memories there, I was actually at that meeting, watching my dad in f2s Harry hartnell 539 and was also the 1st track I ever went to, aged 3wks old, even though I spent most of it in the back of the van while the old man raced lol
