    Perfect explanation, thank you for this!! But why would you commit? Is there any disadvantage to just leaving Elastic Audio on...?

      Thank you! Elastic audio can be demanding on your computers resources if left on, it could cause those dreaded errors to pop up. On this track, I saved the original and on this I did a "save as" and put the faster tempo in my title. The tones on the guitar were from my 80's Marshall JCM 800 100w using my Gibson Les Paul Classic as well as Hughes and Kettner Tube 50. Thank you for your question and your kind comment! - Bret

    Help! 2024 we just upgraded our Protools. When we click on tempo change it doesn't give us the popup menu. What are we missing?
