However, I really like the soundtrack and as the final season is running right now I figured a new GoT cover would be quite fitting. MrBromaba your version is really awesome man. It's hardcore but I don't have that feeling of 'uhh too much' that easily comes with very complete sheets, it's just a very genuine, fresh, intelligent interpretation, Bravo!
Depends, sometimes I use my piano‘s sound and sometimes I fiddle around with the VST sound. However, I always adjust the VST sound after the recording to make it fit perfectly to the piece.

FzzLe I listened to a lot of different samples and liked this one and Piano in Blue most. There are other great ones out there like Hans Zimmer Piano or Keyscape. I don‘t have these ones though.
Mr.Meeseeks Piano No LED stripe, it was a big LED bar which I put onto the piano. That thing is actually meant to be used for lighting stages, that‘s why sometimes the whites get blown out cuz it was too bright for my camera, lol
Bruno Morais screen record the synthesia notes and combine them with the actual performance. Remove the background, add a nice pic, add some glow effects and voila :)

Bruno Morais there‘s an effect in Resolve called "Glow". I stack two or more layers on top of each other, one for the narrow space around the notes and one for the wider space. Then I adjust the settings of the effects.
