Idea for a manhunt twist: Everything is slightly off for the hunters. Their sensitivity is different, the distance they travel with WASD is slightly altered, there is a tiny delay to their attacks, mining is slightly slower, they drown a bit faster and miss half their water bucket clutches just to name a few ideas. These slight disadvantages will add up and collectively mess with the hunter's minds as they struggle to guess the twist!
Edit: Somebody in the comment suggested to give the speedrunner slight advantages to make the hunters suffer more.

I would love to see a manhunt, where everybody thinks it is the finale to "your own twists", but the Devs actually secretly make it so that the twists you select "for yourself" get applied to one other person, who will be notified later of what twists they got. It would be funny to see how Dev writes "If I crouch TNT spawns on Kier", and Kier crouches and blows him off with his twist, and he is like "HUH!?
They will write all sorts of OP twists for themselves, and see someone else having fun!

@Brackets Jogo as there’s 3 of them maybe they could swap effects randomly, like the two hunters make 2 lists and the runner makes a list and then all the lists are put in to a wheel picker and each person gets it spun for them
That way even the runner wouldn’t know who was getting what and wouldn’t put just bad things but you also keep the hunters in the dark till the last minute

Next time you do a rematch like this, write them in an actual book or notepad so you can't forget them. Also, there should be a limit for the number of twists for each person.
I'm surprised that no one thought of 'breaking spawners spawns wardens'. That ought to teach the hunters not to break the spawners.

That is if the developer fixes the luck attribute to make it affect chest loot as originally intended (it only affects fishing).
Actually that’s luck of the sea. The potion effect Luck gives you better chest loot, and bad luck gives you worse chest loot.
@@dindjarin9104 I'm not very knowledgeable with the technical side of minecraft, but I have tested the luck and bad luck effects with chest loot and the effects did nothing. Other people have tested them with fishing and said they worked just like luck of the sea.
Unless the game's developers fixed them in later versions, the effects do not work as they were originally intended.

Twist Idea: The Legislator (cont.)
The following relates to items in this twist.
Quill: an ordinary pen.
- Recipe: One ink-sac, one sugar and a feather
- Has no use outside of crafting
Lawbook Enchanting Table: an enchanting table with a lawbook.
- Recipe: Enchanting table recipe, but replacing the normal book in the recipe with a silver-gold lawbook.
- Enchantments (must be applied to normal books): Eternal, Avarice, Boundless
The Lawbook (5 variants): can influence the laws of Minecraft.
- Leather-bound: 5 durability (enables use of Mode 1)
- Copper-plated: 20 durability (adds Mode 2)
- Silver-gold plated: 100 durability (adds Mode 3)
- Obsidian-diamond plated: 200 durability (adds Mode 4)
- Netherite-plated: 750 durability (adds Mode 5)
The leather-bound book can be crafted with a quill in the center-slot of the crafting table, and two books on the side. Repair with one leather in an anvil.
The copper-plated book can be crafted by combining 4 copper ingots around one leather-bound book, combined with 4 redstone pieces in the corners. Repair with one copper ingot or one redstone in an anvil.
The silver-gold plated book requires that the copper-plated book is placed in the center, with 4 iron ingots around the book, and four gold ingots in the corners. Repair with one iron or gold ingot in an anvil.
The obsidian-diamond plated book is crafted by passing a Lawbook enchanting table into a crafting table and surrounding it with two diamonds. Repair with one diamond block in an anvil.
The netherite-plated book is crafted by putting a diamond-plated book into a smithing table and combining it with a netherite ingot. Repair with one netherite ingot in a smithing table.
The Rules: - No OP Loot

Twist idea: The Legislator (may be used in the finale to the "Create our own twists rematch")
You can craft a lawbook that can change the rules of the game, with a 5 minute time limit before the rules revert back to normal afterwards. The book has a set amount of durability and different rule changes consume different durability, XP and more. Hunters cannot craft the leather-bound lawbook (starter lawbook), but if given the leather-bound book, can craft the copper, silver-gold, diamond and netherite variants, as well as the Lawbook enchantment table.
There are 7 modes to the Lawbook, as listed:

Mode 1: Server games (1 durability and 1 XP level expended per use; requirement: leather-bound lawbook)
One game (may change - read more below) out of all games on all large servers that are similar to Hypixel will be chosen.
For example, when Murder Mystery is chosen, one murderer and one detective are chosen from all hunters. The murderer and detective can do everything that they can in the original gamemode (a special weapon is given to the murderer and detective, which will be removed from inventory upon the end of the rule change), and can insta-kill all players they attack, except for the speedrunner. If the murderer kills all other hunters before the time limit, they gain speed II and strength II, but steal one heart from each hunter and give all other hunters 1 minute darkness effect. Conversely, a murderer that fails to kill all hunters will be restricted to half health and gain 2 minute darkness effect. A detective that kills a murderer will gain the health that the murderer loses. Gold can be converted to temporary golden weapons with OP enchants and lasts until the round ends.
There are many more games across different servers, but a selection of 5 - 10 popular games could be used. Once the game ends, it applies changes to Hunters' health, hunger, status effects, inventory slots, usable tools and armor etc, and these changes last 5 minutes before being reverted.
I love the "we get our own twists" and "make our own twists"! It really keeps things interesting with all the chaos that happens.
Can we all just appreciate the amount of creativity being put into these manhunts!

Twist Idea: The Legislator (cont.)
Mode 4: Commands (20 durability and 10 XP levels expended per use; requirements: obsidian-diamond plated lawbook and Level 15 in XP)
When used, all commands can be accessed. Command blocks can be used. Each command, while accessible, is nerfed to reasonable levels, avoiding abuse of commands. For example, locate gives a compass pointing in the general direction of the structure (the compass lasts for 2 minutes). Give has a maximum of a stack of 16 (for blaze rods and ender pearls, this is limited to a stack of 4). Kill and kick can only be used once for the duration of the rule change. Clear inventory only clears one row of inventory of all targets, and TP teleports someone into anywhere within an 100 block radius of the destination. All commands that are OP will be restricted in a similar way, while any non-OP commands have no restrictions (such as gamerule set time and gamerule weather).

Mode 5: Twists (50 durability and 15 XP levels expended per use; requirements: netherite plated lawbook and Level 20 in XP)
When used, all twists from the Colour Gang are accessible, but each twist only be used once per rule change. All custom items and structures remain once the rule change ends, and mobs that spawn as a result will stay, although no more new mobs can spawn (including from spawners). The exception to this rule is if an item in question is the main component of the twist (e.g. Size Changer twist), in which case the item is converted into XP once the rule change ends. The amount of XP gained depends on how OP the item is (the more OP the item, the more XP given).

Mode 6: Devil's Gate (100 durability and 20 XP levels expended per use; requirements: netherite plated lawbook with the custom enchantment Avarice and Level 25 in XP)
When used, Modes 1 - 5 can all be used without cost or requirement for the next 5 minutes, but builds up an XP and durability debt. After the 5 minutes are up, the debt will incurred, in which case durability and XP are deducted. In the event that the book breaks before all the durability is deducted, 1 XP level can be used to compensate for a loss of 20 durability. If the XP bar becomes empty before all XP is deducted, half a heart of the user's max health will be taken in exchange for every 5 XP levels. The health deduction will be reverted after 10 minutes.
Any rule changes made during this period of time have their own independent 5 minute time limit and are not tied to the end of Mode 6.

The following relates to enchantments:
Runic: All items enchanted with this have twice the durability of Unbreaking 3. Each armor piece enchanted with this will reduce all damage by 20% (additive), and a full armor set reduces all damage by 90%, while thorns will be applied to a full armor set. Shields enchanted with this can reduce explosion damage. Swords and axes gain the equivalent of Sharpness 2, and Runic stacks multiplicatively with all forms of protection enchantments (including Protection) and Sharpness. Does not stack with Thorns. If applied to a Lawbook with Avarice and Boundless, the Lawbook will only take half of current durability when Mode 6 and 7 are used.
Avarice: Mode 6 can be activated. Cost of XP and durability is halved when using Modes 1 - 5.
Boundless: Mode 7 can be activated. Each use of Modes 1 - 5 increases the Luck effect, and increases the time over which Resistance applies. Using Mode 7 gives Totem of Undying and/or God Apple effects.

This isn't a perfect concept but it goes somewhat in-depth into the kind of twist I have, and can be altered to be more suitable for a manhunt, SMP or Minecraft Challenge. The only three requests I have is that:
1. The twist should keep the durability and XP usage aspect, so that the Lawbook is not unfairly balanced and instead has a cost to pay.
2. The crafting recipes for the Lawbook in the twist aren't immediately obvious to hunters (as seen above: the added "quill" item, the "lawbook enchanting table", and the changes between different crafting recipes).
3. That there be multiple hunters (I think that Mode 1 could really shine with 4 or more players).
This is my first twist suggestion. I love your videos and this video was one of the greatest so far (it inspired me to write this). Please have a finale! :D

I like how boosfer forgot he could ride the ender dragon so that kier could never reach it and Kier dying because of fall damage that he coded out but still affected him because of a glitch is ironic.

When used, all modes will have no limitations (e.g. commands used in Mode 4 cannot be restricted, and all mods used from Mode 2 remain on the server). Durability use and XP expenditure is a quarter of what it normally is. If Mode 6 is used, there are no penalties, but once the 5 minutes of Mode 7 are up, the lawbook will break and the player will suffer damage equivalent to half their health with the status effect Hunger for 30 seconds.

This was such a crazy battle lol everyone had such an op twist. Literally was 3 people who could warp reality battling it out.
I love this, it's hilarious I hope he does more and even do more hunters and maybe even more speedrunners helping him or maybe even an impostor damn that would be great.
Honestly I think the developers should balance the twists after they see them and tell those new twists to the respective players, because some twists are just too OP

Minecraft manhunt but breaking different colours of coral gives different potion effects
E.g. blue = swiftness, red = strength, etc
Twist idea: all food is chorus fruit, meaning anything can be eaten while at full hunger, and will give you the 4 hunger and 2.4 saturation, whilst randomly teleporting you. So eating anything from rotten flesh to god apples would have the same effect, also all status effects from eating something are removed, since everything is chorus fruit.
It always so fun to see everyone getting a game breaking power that just turns them into gods qnd this was somehow better than the last one

I'm thinking next time KIER could just make it "Hitting Boosfer with a ray gun cancels their twists for 30 seconds and drops their currently held item". I'd like to see Boosfer get hit and it just drops his axe and he goes:

I mean you could also just go: "I steal a twist permanently from a hunter whenever they get an advancement"
But Kier's twists are pretty cool TBH. He has a crazy mind with frog guns and stick man powerups. He's in it to win it, but he's more so there to think outside the box and have fun. I don't think he'd go for something crazy OP... well...

Twists i would use:
Killing mobs makes the blocks at their cords fall into the void.
Standing on endstone for more than a second spawns an endermite.
Creepers are charged and spawn 5 regular creepers when they explode.
Flying with elytra makes the screen flip upside-down.
Ender pearls throw behind the player.
This is one of the best idea tho. This is actually really entertaining and fun to watch unlike other crazy op twist.

i am genuinely surprised no one bothered to put "can only take damage from punches." or "being at one heart makes me immune to anything but fall damage."
Just some ideas:
Eating redstone gives a speed buff.
Can craft a taco with meat/fish and eat it for 10 extra permanent hearts each.
Iron is as strong as netherite.
Crouching makes you poop and it can be thrown to give hunters nausea and blindness for 3 minutes.
Crafted books have random enchantments.
Coal gives 30x xp.
Mossy cobble has a chance to drop a full stack of totems of the undying.
Red dye can be eaten and has the same effect as enchted golden apples.
Each time you shoot an arrow your bow gains a level of punch.
Eggs act as ender pearls.
Killing villagers gives a random enchant to weapons/armor.
If a hunter harms a chicken, chickens spawn around them and attack for 2 minutes.
Slapping hunters with a fish send them flying with knockback 50.
Lava heals instead of harms.
Iron and vines can be used to make a grapple hook that counterintuitivly stops you from taking fall damage when aimed at the ground.
Throwing items at a target block duplicates them.
Hunters can't eat.
Set fire to the ground behind you.
Hunters burn for double damage and burn three times as long.
When hunters sprint they take damage.
When in contact with water, instantly heal.
Gain speed based on distance from 0,0.
Mining sometimes has a chance to drop rare items.
Dev drops chaurus fruit on death that along with a normal ender pearl can be used to make an infinite ender pearl.
Boosfer has permanent blindness.
Yellowool can be called in to assist the speedrunner for 20 minutes.
Hunters can't use boats and dolphins don't give dolphin's grace.
Start with an elytra and infinite firework.
Potions are only positive for the speedrunner, and only negative for the hunters.
Hunter shields don't work and hunters can't use armor.
Please keep doing this exact twist for a manhunt this is by far the best one

What about you guys can make unique twists BUT it's randomized who gets which ones? When writing the twists you can only use "I" (affects the one who gets the written twists) and "them" (affects the other players) to write them, so you don't put names and avoid the point of the benefits and bad things being random. Idk sounds good in my mind lol. Nice vid as always! ✨

a twist could be any mob that the runner kills comes back to life as a slighty weaker version that fights for the runner

Twist for runner: Craft a power stick with a stick and enderpearl and this power stick permanently removes a heart from a hunter when hitting hunter and it cant regenerate,
Twist for hunters: When writing item name in book both hunters get 64x that item
And if you hit runner with seed it permanently turn runner into random mob

Some Twists you should guys do (idk if they already used it):
Compasses point where KIER is going.
Standing on nether bricks give you fire resistance.
Jumping on a red carpet makes you see where KIER is.
By killing a bat you can turn everyone's world upside down.
Trees now spawn angry bees.
Skeletons spawn after you catch on fire.
Equipping Orange Terracotta heals you.
Ender pearls lead to a random place.
If you drown you gain hearts.
Opening a trapdoor in nighttime while on top of it makes you teleport to KIER.

Sugestion: If you ever do a finale of this twist you should make it so you the hunters have the irl damage thing where when they take too much fall damage they can't walk e.g. But they can't see it and don't know about it also you should maybe have worldedit and some other things
idk if the thing you're thinking of is called irl damage, because to me this sounds like if they take fall damage someone just comes in and breaks their legs in real life

@@carrotthemonkey1265 some of the stuff is not doable or very hardly doable with plugins, like the furnace and workbench in the inventory, since you gotta not only add the textures and make the server handle it but also you gotta tell the client there are slots there
