Fair play, I thought Kilmarnock played a great game tonight. Made it very difficult for us to break them down. But he’s spot on with his assessment of the game. It only really came down to key moments in the game with key players stepping up. The penalty against us I think was soft but if it was against us I’d be shouting for it. Kilmarnock will play in Europe next season if they continue to play like that. As a Rangers fan, I think this was one of the toughest games we have had this season and I am obviously delighted to have won.

Well done Killy. That was a tough game but to make a point that pitch helped you out more than the Gers. TF there was no injuries to any Rangers players due to the amount of players slipping on a plastic pitch in the Prem in 2024.
Kilmarnock are a well coached team, McInnes should be proud of that. Don’t think we will have a harder game. Butland save and the Captain Fantastic free kick were superb. But for that I thought we were beat for long periods but somehow w kept battling and won. 💙

Also how he has this team playing, makes look at Aberdeen and wonder how they seemed not be up for every game, whereas this team is, and that plus belief that they can compete will hold Killie in good stead.
Rugby Park especially with Derek McInnes at the helm is fast becoming a difficult venue to scrape a result, the surface doesn't help but if you want to win leagues you need to overcome that.
I'd love to see McInnes working alongside Mr Clement. Mr McInnes as other have said, an excellent manager. Being able to draw on the European experience of the current Rangers manager would lift Mr McInnes to the next level and make him a shoe-in as Mr Clement's replacement when he decides to move on. (That time is going to come and we need to be ready. The lack of forward planning on player/manager replacement -and recruitment- had left us in a mess in the past. Time to get it right; when we have the time!)

No wonder Borna was as angry as I've seen him. The Killie penalty came indirectly from this. Rangers should have had two penalties that were at least as deserved as this self-defence number by Lunny. Kille well-organised, though, up to their usual tricks, pushing for set pieces and slowing the game down, sneaky fouls. They got what they deserved, though, from a team of cultured footballers!

That was a red car when Diomande pulled the lad, Butland got there a millisecond before the lad and he lost vital ground when he was tugged, he’s getting there first without that pull.
Never a red he let's go after 2 seconds and the killie player was honest and stayed on his feet if he goes down potentially but he didn't so right decision
