BEST Day Hike in New Zealand's Fiordland National Park 🇳🇿 Gertrude Saddle

- Fiordland National Park features many epic hiking adventures, but the Gertrude Saddle Route tops the list as one of the best day hikes in the entire region. After walking to the head of a sprawling valley full of waterfalls, we climbed a steep elevation gain up to Black Lake and then tackled the legendary cable section up and across massive granite slabs and boulders. Finally we arrived at Gertrude Saddle with amazing views of Milford Sound and the snow capped peaks all around us.
