Back in the 90's I put together a few of the Peco wagons when I deployed to Germany and Hungary. They were inexpensive and provided a break and relaxation from military duties. Best of all, they didn't take up much space in my luggage!

I'm enjoying your N Gauge videos and it is giving me the inspiration to run my own N project in parallel albeit as temporary Unitrack layouts at the present time.

Great fun - you are good at finding bargains Mike - well done!! I look forward to the next layout update😍

Looks great quality and N guage is certainly good stuff, Kato & Peco have their act together....

Fantastic to see your efforts are being rewarded by companies noting that you give fair reviews on everything. That wee bridge kit looks an excellent addition for any warehouse complex. As for those wagons, blimey they are terrific! Such great value with those Japanese twin sets, but even the Peco ones are decent value, not least because they clearly paint up well. Love it mate, truly a budget railway when you can buy new stuff like that! The N lure is getting stronger I can tell you! 😂👍🍀🍻

"Good evening on this chilly morning"🤣🤣🤣 😁👍👍

Thanks for the video, the kato wagons are grand at a great price. The Peco kits I use as well because I love making them too!!😎🚂🚃🚃🚃🇬🇧

just received a set of the kato covered ones and they are very nice, but I think you have convinced me to get a set of their box wagons as well. Cheers

"Good evening on this chilly morning" - what a great opening line 😊

These wagons look good for that price, new stuff is often quite expensive.

I have bought some Japanese rolling stock in N, Kato, but also a Greemax DMUs and a Tomix diesel engine, and I can vouch for the excellent quality/price ratio : cheap but excellent construction, all motorized engines have flywheels and the motors are top notch. If you want something excellent at a more than decent price, it's the way to go.

I think your painting skills are quite good. Thanks for sharing.

It looks wonderful Mike,i have always thought of doing a N Gauge American RR.But with my OO layout,Model Aircraft modelling and outside interests i need to find more time! Cheers Mike.

What I love about the Kato wagons is that they have metal wheels. You just don't get that anywhere else. They are such good value. I have a number of American outline Atlas wagons and they annoyingly all come with plastic wheels which I don't like.

These N gauge mini layouts are brilliant. Shame that there are no reasonable priced UK outline N gauge locomotives and rolling stock out there (apart from very old second hand models)

That's positively spooky! I just ordered two sets of the KATO TEMU 300 box cars yesterday! Terrific price. I am doing Japanese Freelance, circa 1970 so I have several of the flat cars you show as well, again great price. The boxcars, btw, were designed to haul quicklime to steel mills.

  • @semperatis

I tend to use Train Trax too, especially because they do Kato stuff.

  • @gregmacdonald927

Excellent value for new wagons. If only we could match that in other scales!
