I am in the North Atlantic Ocean and it took my village to get this uploaded. But it was worth all the effort. This is such a good tool to help keep track of all your quilts. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Thank you Karen for introducing quilters like Kiley. She was joy to watch and so talented. I love the variety of subject matters you bring to your channel and always learn something new from you and your guests.
I downloaded the App while listening to the interview. Super simple. Looking forward to using it. I’m terrible keeping up writing journals but I think that this will be great! Best of success!
I guess I'm "old school" because I use my digital camera to take pics of what I've made, especially if they go out the door as a gift or donation! I download the SD card to the desktop and send them to Walmart. I have two photo albums full; to see more things before that, you have to go back to the family pics! This allows me to go back and look and remember. I've also put notes next to them as to who they went to. The year is on the bottom corner of the picture already! I get 4 x 6 matte. When I have half a dozen or so, I send them in. ☺I currently have about 30 lap/baby/child quilts to donate. I usually drape them on the back of the couch and take front and back or turn over a corner to show the back. The albums have everything that I've made, including house dresses for me! From coasters to quilts, they are all in there!☺A nice thing for my son to have...eventually!☺
She's talented, sharp & driven to create, be an originator & a mover. I design patterns almost daily, never have found anyone who would want one. Most anyone who has seen these quilts, blocks, drawing express interest or a wow. I don't label anything, quilts, rughooking (always original design),), knitting (same), weaving, I don't know anyone who cares I made anything. Those who do I consider brave . I've been doing these things since 70 yrs, except hooking ( '99). Learned to sew, knit, weave at 9yrs. 79 yrs on 2 July 24. I still have the 1st quilt. Sunbonnet Sue, hand applique, tied, 2 flannel sheets, backed with muslin. Sue's are connton, flannel, Terry cloth, whatever "Nana", had in the " cloth drawer". I'm glad no fur, she always had these to put on coats to dress them up. She & Mom were amazing creative women. I always had access to learning a creative process. 70 yrs of " never time to be bored"!!! Thanks, Karen again for your added 'interesting" to our lives.
Oh Karen. I don't know how you do it but each and every interview is so interesting and helpful. I am unable to quilt right now because if some health problems but I MUST keep up with all the new and important information so that I can soon get back into my favorite Hobbie. Thank you and Kiley for the fantastic interview.
Another great interview. New subscriber and I’m enjoying going through all your past videos! Downloaded the app and hope to start loading up some of my projects!
This is a wonderful idea! I am a software developer and started quilting in 2022. So, I have definitely downloaded the app from the Play store! Great to have an app to track the quilts and the process!❤
Another great interview....my quilt history consists of pictures only...now I need to complete the history before I forget. Thanks for the "push" to complete that project.
Fantastic and very inspirational interview! As a relatively new quilter, I'm always excited to learn new techniques and patterns. I'll be ordering Kiley's new book! Thanks Karen for introducing Kiley to me. Great interview!
Karen, you bring us the best content. Your guest is well spoken and makes me happy to see who’s supporting and spreading the joy of quilting. I love the idea of this app! Will give it a try.
Thanks! I cleaned out my machine while listening, knowing I’ll be downloading and sharing this app with my quilty friends! I wonder if there’s a way to share the info with a group of friends only and not the whole public. Also, once your pictures are public, there’s the risk of having images stolen. I’d rather stay private or close circle of quilters only.
I can totally relate to adjusting a pattern instead of just following the pattern and trusting the process. I have redone many of the patterns I use. Since most of what I make is donated to Quilts of Valor, and their size requirement is 60"×80", that means adapting the pattern to that size. Sometimes that's easy, sometimes it's a bit of a brain exercise. I love the idea of her app. I've been trying to keep track in photos, but the pictures get buried in all the pictures of everything else. I can't wait to check out the app. It sounds like a quilting specific app like Facebook. What a fun idea. So many things to explore from this interview.
Hi Karen, can you please give me information about the quilt behind you. Do you have a tutorial on it? Or the pattern name? I really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.
Enjoying listening to “my friends” who I have never met. I told my teacher friends I was cruising with my “quilt friends from Washington” oh the concerned looks 🤣😂🤣. Google teacher salaries in Washington State…News 13 had a story, Washington has one of the highest AVERAGE salary for teachers, as a teacher, still not enough 🤷♀️. How many other professions use their family budget to support their career? Additionally, average salary can be misleading depending on the average length of service. In Michigan our contracts including salary scale are posted on the district website. Salary is determined by degree (bachelors, masters, ed specialist, additional credits) and length of service and vary by district.
I enjoy your interviews, but your titles confuse me ... They don't seem to match the actual content. I almost skipped this one because I wasn't particularly interested in "memory quilts." A better title might have been " Documenting your quilts. "
But then, “documenting your quilts” might indicate how to label your quilts. I’m aware of “Memory Quilts” as recording special personal information for weddings, birthdays, etc. And then “Quilting Memories” means to me a record of patterns, fabrics, where the quilt was given or is being used.
I am in the North Atlantic Ocean and it took my village to get this uploaded. But it was worth all the effort. This is such a good tool to help keep track of all your quilts. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Thank you, and your village, for the great interview. Bon voyage! Have the very best if times😊
Safe travels! Have a wonderful time.
You always find the best people to interview. And then you ask the best questions to draw them out Thanks again for sharing this with us.

I found this app a while ago. I was impressed by it. Thanks for this chat because I enjoy it when I see how apps that I like are made.

Incredible app I am downloading now! Thank you Karen!
I was looking to see if there was an app to save my quilt projects last month….nothing….. I’m so happy Kiley made this! Thanks Kiley❤
I have the app, and love that I can keep track of my quilts I have made. Thank you. Great interview.
Charming young woman! I’m going to try the app!
Thank you for this….i learn so much from you and your guests.
I wish Kiley would come to the annual International Quilt Show in Paducah, Kentucky and teach a class or classes for designing your own patterns.
Great interview
I kind of use Instagram for archiving my quilts. But I guess I need to check out her app, sounds interesting.
Thanks for the interesting interview.
Fantastic and very inspirational interview! As a relatively new quilter, I'm always excited to learn new techniques and patterns. I'll be ordering Kiley's new book! Thanks Karen for introducing Kiley to me. Great interview!

Yeh! A West Virginian!!

😳 good to know that someone else almost always tweaks the pattern or process 😁
Sad I can't get the My Quilt app ... not available for Mac desktop and my iPad can't download it as it's older. Oh well.
Do you sew quilts for friends? Do you charge them, like for a 85x90?
How old is she???? 4 kids and she looks like a kid herself! Does her mom do the quilting on all of her projects? Amazing woman!😊
I thought the same thing!
Hi Karen, can you please give me information about the quilt behind you. Do you have a tutorial on it? Or the pattern name? I really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

I use Facebook an app is probably more secure than just posting on Facebook 😊
For materials ,hours?
Can anyone help me figure out how to add photos of my quilts to my projects?

I agree, but so glad I watched. Downloaded the app and have uploaded a project.
Same for me.
