@Nightmare when you said "Who cares?" You should've ignored my comment in the first place, not made a big fuss about it. So clearly you care enough to say f**k off.
Other collabs QG has done include with: Wiidude83 before Wiidude retired from countdowns and became a video game reviewer (Reminds me I NEED to get caught up on his Kirby marathon now that it's come to an end) he's done not one, not two, but THREE collabs with Green Scorpion (4 if you count Oscar's appearance in the Asura's Wrath episode Segment of QG's favorite Boss Rage episodes list) And he did that best Mario Kart tracks list with Black Mage Maverick back when he was known as MaverickHunterZero75 AKA the One Winged Angel.
@@ejelecflametails6657 no that's Alex roshon (sorry if I butcher hus name) who retired in cowntdowns, quater guy does videos (cowntdowns, reviews, and retro arcade) once a month due to his job
Actually Keiji Inafune had very little to do with Megaman in the first place so him leaving really didn't impact the franchise. As Mighty Number 9 shows in all honesty it was probably for the best.
The virtual boy, their youtube policies, their mediocre online service, yoshis new island, deciding to use cartridges for the n64, and the wii u come to mind
Like Scorcher said in this video. He's showing no bias towards any video game company when it comes to screw ups even acclaimed ones such as Nintendo so I wouldn't worry.
I understand why it wouldn't make the list, but I'd still like to add my own 'unmissable' honorable mention: Before last year's Tokyo Game Show, Capcom was hyping up their Ace Attorney panel. Specifically that they were gonna show something 'unmissable for fans of the series'. What was so 'unmissable' that Capcom felt the need to hype it up so much? Investigations 2 remake with plans for localization? Dai Gyakuten Saiban 1&2 ports with localizations? Ace Attorney 7? The answer is: YET ANOTHER GOD DAMN ORIGINAL TRILOGY PORT. Under normal circumstances I could care less about a port, as that just means more people can enjoy the games. But what I and MANY others could not let go was how Crapcom though another trilogy port was worth calling 'unmissable for fans'. Needless to say, the constant 'Unmissable' being used everywhere made Franziska von Karma's abuse of the word 'Fool' look tame in comparison.
Emil Omnic yes we would I don’t know why people act like fails make it so good games will happen if the fails didn’t happen the actual good games would appear more often Companies wouldn’t have to learn if they were already great
Jack F A lotta things happened when most of the original teams left Capcom. It wasnt surprising at all that Capcom lost their touch. But they were always listening and even said and I quote "we arent some evil overlord company" in an interview. And tbh I think there are worse companies than Capcom that dont give two shits about feedback or backlash. Konami, Activision, EA, etc. Compared to them Capcom is a masterpiece of a company. And even the employee treatment was worse. Remember how the Konami employees were treated after Kojima left. Its the equivalent of being in literral development hell. Oh and, to Capcom's credit, they never C&D'd any fan project, unlike SE & Nintendo. Still not forgiving what happened with the Chrono Trigger fan remake. Controversies aside, SFxT is a pretty fun game. -Screw you Sw1tcher for- -calling it a Scrublords ep.!- Call me a Capcom sheep but at least my faith is not entirely misplaced. They learn, they make mistakes and bad decisions and they fix them in some cases. Even if those mistakes happen more often that needed. Yeah, they're greedy but they're not scummy greedy. Not anymore anyways. And while it is a shame that Megaman got canned for the most part I understand why they did it.....for the most part.
Jack F Yeah I know. I wqs just generally-speaking. Still there are people nowadays that are still salty and dont let go of their past mistakes and pretty much ignore all the good things they did recently (not referring to TQG and the other guy btw). As a Capcom fan, thats pretty jarring to me, not to mention somewhat unfair. I mean if it wasnt the case it wouldnt still be nicknamed Crapcom. Which is a stupid nickname tbh. I'm just glad they got their traction back and hope they keep it going.
Monster Hunter didn't exactly just suddenly become great. It had been for quite a while, if MH had one issue was remaining on outdated tech limiting a wider audience. World just modernised to a new engine and put it on other (stronger) platforms. Many fans still consider P2nd and 4G two of the best entries; the latter being a 2014 game.
Does anyone else like how in the beginning of the video Josh just accepts that quarter guy just let himself in (was watching older Josh collab videos when this pop up)

For those who don't know about Disney and MvCI...The reason why only the MCU characters were the Marvel roster is because the other movie franchises were owned by Fox, and Disney did not want to give free promotion to X-Men, Deadpool, or the Fantastic Four...Heck, Disney even forced Marvel writers to not make any more X-Men, Deadpool, or F4 comics because that's more free promotion to the other franchises they don't have their hands on....Total bullshit, am I right?
@@dylansmith5206 Why? Because many enjoy the offline experience just as much as or more than the online experience. While yes Nintendo is terrible with online and needs to fix it not everyone plays games online, and for some online functionality is not as big of a factor in their enjoyment of a game.
@@dylansmith5206 I'm not trying to excuse Nintendo from any of their mistakes. I and many others fully acknowledge that their online in general is bad and I also acknowledge that compared to other smash games ssbu is light on 1p content, though it's still more than 64 had. That said, there is still fun to be had with the game even without online. Can it get repetitive? Sure, but all games are like that including the past smash games. Also, event matches and the classic modes from past games have the same problem you mentioned WoL and ssbu classic having (fighting the same cpus over and over again), so I don't see how that's relevant to your point here. For covid19 yes healthy people and those thst practice healthy habits like hand washing are at lower risk but that doesn't necessarily mean that they're at no risk as even seemingly healthly people can get affected and not even know it for a while. In the end Nintendo does need to fix online, but even without online ssbu is still a fun game to play. If you can't have fun without online so be it, but I don't see how attacking those who still enjoy ssbu despite the bad online helps any.
Well, I definitely see why. I know I'm gonna be controversial when I say this, but I honestly say when it comes to a MegaMan guilty pleasure, I'd be lying if I said mine was X6. With that in mind, I think it's easy to figure out which I feel mine is. I personally see nothing wrong with it, though. I wouldn't shame anyone for coming out to say X6 is their guilty pleasure.
Sadly Capcom's biggest problem are how they REALLY fail to respect and handle their own properties. Mega Man has had it rough the most but pretty much all of their best works have. At least Mega Man hasn't been abandoned like what they did with Breath of Fire, Dino Crisis and HELL, even Zelda games XD
Darkstalkers is still in the corner gambling their days away since most of their dudes are sad that they are waiting still for their time to shine. Most of them haven't seen play since DS3!
A part of me is hoping they do Megaman Legends 3. ........And if that does well, Misadventures of Tron Bonne. .......And Breath of Fire 6 (The iOS one does not count.).
ShadowWolfRising breath of fire 6? I would want that....but would it sell? I mean yes fans would love a true new game, but is that enough? They would have to do drastic changes to get everyone’s attention, and that scares me
@@kungfuenthusiasm6592 You play as a Dragon, that alone should get some people's attention. Breath of Fire has ALOT going for it, they just gotta advertise that heavily.
Here's some other fails for Capcom: American fans can never play any Sengoku basara games (I love that franchise to this day, love the anime thought) DmC devil may cry: did anyone ask for a reboot of Devil May Cry? Good thing DMC5 saved the franchise Marvel vs capcom infinite: Capcom really shot themselves in the foot with this. No new releases of past franchises: darkstalkers, rival schools, Power Stone. Oh and don't worry QuarterGuy, I feel your pain. Also we need a New Vs. Capcom game.
They killed Sengoku Basara. It's now with a mobile gacha game that's never gonna come to US and I think doesn't hold a candle towards the gacha holy trinity of Granblue Fantasy, Fire Emblem Heroes and Fate/Grand Order.
@@RoninZeroReaper Yukimura-den bombed so hard. I mean, it's almost inevitable: Only two new characters (Masayuki and Nobuyuki), only the Sanadas get campaigns, and they're pretty short, re-used gimmick (Nobuyuki's grappling is similar to Hideyoshi), darker and edgier setting (they killed Sasuke, dammit!) and PRICED LIKE A FULL GAME that even the Japanese fans were not amused. And after that, are there no wonders that Koei's Musou version still lived, and as of Basara, Capcom's #3 on this list suddenly sounded like a logical step after such a gigantic bomb? The announcement of Battle Party (AKA their gacha game) just felt like a death knell to them and I'm also mourning... the gacha game wasn't even that phenomenal and looked like a cheap cash grab. @Fiery Joker: in the Official Complete works, Inafune DOES apologize for not seeing the potential to continue the X franchise, while it's implied Capcom DID try to make amends for X6's development behind his back... Also, my opinion differs from yours, I believe that Inafune was NOT right for the series as a whole... While he did keen work in classic, it was the whole X5 thing that soured my opinion for him, because he spent a LOT of time trying to make his own story, which, while not a bad thing, isn't really something that fans would like when you have such a hot ticket franchise.
Yeah, why would I want *the real X* as the main villain of MegaMan Zero? That is way out of character for him. As bad as his character assassination was in X7, it at least somewhat makes sense since X hates violence. However, what X hates even more than violence is injustice, which is why he fights. To suddenly make him the main villain in MegaMan Zero is, in my opinion, even worse than him retiring, only to then begrudgingly get back in the fight in X7.
Don't forget that outsourcing era when they started outsource many games which coused them huge financial losses. And briefly mentioned in number 4, killing well known IPs like Rival Schools, Dino Crisis and Breath of Fire.
One honorable mention is how they screw up MOST of their modern collections (mostly for Switch owners) in recent years, by making half or the majority of the content needing to be downloaded despite buying it physically (looking at you DMC Trilogy Collection, RE 1HD+Zero Collection), or barely putting an extra content. Also, putting minimum effort in their collections particularly the Megaman ones like the Classic collection not including Megaman and Bass (a game that could've benefitted from save state/checkpoint system of the collection) or the Saturn version of MM8, and the Zero Collection recycling most of the same bonus content from its DS collection a decade prior. Also going back to the Classic collection, they had no reason to split it into two collection by the time they were porting it to modern console (FFS, 8 out the 10 games are 8-bit, they don't take much space on the same cartridges that can hold BOTW and the Castlevania Collection), and for some reason for the Switch they released the port of Classic Coll. 1 physically overseas but not Classic Coll. 2. despite releasing a double pack but with the latter collection only being a code (Welp there goes an alt. of owning a cheap copy of MM7 physically without breaking bank or taking data space). The X-Collections got the same treatment as the Classic Collection. Ugh...
@medoagamer9497 in 2014 Capcom sued Koei Tecmo, claiming they came up with things that other gaming companies came up with and were trying to get 28 million dollars and have a bunch of Koei Tecmo's games set to be released that year be suspended. Clearly failed but yeah
Or how they re-released the X series without fixing X6 and X7. I personally see why people hate X7, but I'd be lying if I said I don't see it as a guilty pleasure.
Due to your editing at 13:40, it sounds like he can't stop saying "Yay." 'cause he's a real man, and that's one of the funniest things that I've ever heard.
Oh, I can already name several. Making Okami HD digital-only outside of Japan, rebooting Devil May Cry despite it not even needing a reboot, cancelling Mega Man Legends 3, making RE Revelations 2 an episodic game, releasing Street Fighter V with barely any content at launch just to have it out in time for competitive play, locking Asura’s Wrath’s true ending behind DLC, Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite’s collector’s edition... The list goes on, but I hope you get the general gist. I love Capcom, but they truly make some boneheaded decisions.
I don't think it'll make the list, knowing Josh's opinion of Okami, but I think giving Clover Studio, the ones who made Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and God Hand, the boot after the inaccurate and scathing reviews for god hand. Clover Studio would go on to reform as Platinum studios, and considering how many great titles they managed to make on their on it goes to show how poor of a decision it was in the long run.
About number 2, I'm surprised neither of you didn't mention the suicide attempts by Capcom employees. Something covered by Kotaku and a few others. Such as how in 2009, during development of Dragon's Dogma, an older employee basically made a new employee's life hell. Though that story is the easiest to find, since it involved women. Further searching shows more stories with situations just as bad.
Wait, Fawful’s Minion is not a fan of Luigi Mario?! >:( I saw Luigi on his list of “Top 10 Paper Mario Characters (Hell, I didn’t even Bat an eye as much as I should when Paper Peach made this list because while she could’ve been written much better than to just be a version of Princess Peach in TTYD which is a great game despite that and Sticker Star which Fawful’s Minion acknowledges was Messed for more reasons than just the one-dimensionality I’d the characters especially her, and by her, I could mean as in both Princess Peach and Kertsi), but then again, maybe we should just take his jab at Luigi as a joke, because Luigi and Fawful’s Minion are both strong enough to be in the Super Smash Bros. franchise.
21:40 Why did you have to open the Sengoku Basara wound? Hasn't Capcom hurt us enough already?! I'm still reeling from them taunting us by announcing a MOBILE game (that probs also won't get ported).
Not to mention, they BLEW their chances with their mobile game. I don't think I've heard that mobile game performing that well (granted, competing with GBF, FEH and FGO is a high order), but still! They had the chance to explore more characters from the Sengoku period, but nooo no no. Oh you say that they finally did it with Katou Kiyomasa and Komatsuhime (AKA Inahime)? Their design screams generic as heck. Kiyomasa is just a generic pretty boy with a katana, Komatsuhime... is not a robot/cyborg/android, despite having a GUNDAM for a dad (she's just a generic short haired tomboy)! Come ON, Capcom. Even Koei did better than THIS.
Prediction: "If you don't have internet, just stick with Xbox 360" will be on this list. The moment I heard that sentence, I felt like my choice of console for the upcoming generation was made for me. Jumped back to PlayStation and haven't looked back since. Haven't even played my 360 in years.
@@Goleon Exactly, the always online idea was already a tough sell for a lot of people, especially for the ones without internet (like me at the time), but then factor in not being able to not let your friends borrow your games or buy used, and their attitude about the whole thing, and their reputation took a hit in the gaming community that I personally think they still haven't recovered from.
Gameranx made a good video on what happened to capcom and how all of their crap decisions were due to major business shifts which is leading to why they are on the upswing
Monster Hunter Double Cross eventually got released as Generations Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch. Dragon's Dogma packaged with the Dark Arisen DLC has been selling like mad on PC, and again on Switch. Okami, as much as Josh hates that marvelous game, has been selling like crazy on PC and modern consoles with the HD remakes, and it DID get a sequel: Okamiden, for the DS.
9:12 unpopular opinion but I love the Resident Evil movies. Well more so the first 3. Afterlife and Retribution are more guilty pleasures and The Final Chapter is just bad. Not one of the worst movies I've seen but still bad
Yeah the movies aren't bad it's just the plot of those movies has nothing to do with the original story of the games and just using monsters and characters from the games instead. Also fun fact George Romero was originally going to do a live-action Resident Evil movie back in the 90s but was fired from the project.
It's only in Fawful's Minion's top 10 Kirby boss es video that i FINALLY saw his Real Life face, a cameo of said face on someone else's channel? I like that, i like that a lot.
wiuth regard to your comments about overworking and unions, overworking is a fact of life in japan and is considered standered practice, hell working yourself to the point of passing out is considered an honerable thing to the point wheree in some companies your boss catching you napping every so often will get you a bonus rather then fired as it indicates you've given so much effort you are literaly passing out in your work space also in japan...unions for the most part don't exist. video games companies are based and run largely in japan....dost thou now comprhend?
That makes sense from a cultural standpoint, but that's still a bit unhealthy. I suppose that gives Capcom a little leeway, but not Konami and certainly not EA since their based here in the West
The thing about RE6 is that Capcom didn't even WANT to make it. After RE5's release, during an interview, they actually said that it was MEANT to be the last game in the series. But the fans and probably some investors couldn't let Capcom end things on THEIR terms, so they were pretty much forced to make another sequel, which is probably why you can TELL how little they actually cared about the project, given how bland, generic, and forgettable it really is
M.D. Webster to be fair the dark ages of square enix were between 2009-2016, they've started to bounce back like Capcom... that being said I DESPISE THE FF13 ERA
@Bini Lover Nintendo in a Nutshell: Hey, you are using our IP & making better quality games than us out of love of the company? Lawsuit! Trying to revive games that were Japan Exclusives or Old af? Lawsuit! Having Fun with our Mobile Games? Time to be EA!
#11: Not opening the vault. Many of Capcom's hits like _Red Earth, Cyberbots, Rival Schools, Gunbird_ and others have never been released on digital consoles for no reason.
3:36: "He's Street Fighter II, he's Street Fighter II, you're *Street Fighter II,* *I'M STREET FIGHTER II!* Are there any other Street Fighter II's I should know about!?" *Ultra Street Fighter II* "I'm outta here." Opposite Day is one of SpongeBob's best episodes.
While I do remember seeing the Street Fighter nonsense, I can really relate since I became a big Mega Man fan. That was the first series other than Zelda that really caught my attention. Also, when I saw the text for the countdown... is it a problem it was making me think of Jeopardy?
For what it's worth, I think that I heard that the Asura's Wrath ending was originally going to be it's own full game, but since the original game didn't sell as well as they had hoped, they scrapped the sequel and sold the ending of the rather good story as DLC.
I mean, yeah, the Mega Man Drought of 2010s was definitely an issue, but let's not forget the franchise was dealing with the opposite problem the decade before. There were SO many MM games on the market that Capcom basically had to compete with itself and that led to the very noticable drop in sales, with some of the best games in the series not being given enough attention when they came out (ZX, anyone?). Ultimately, I do feel the drought was needed. We already have a lot of MM content as is and I doubt 11 would build up so much hype had there been MM games coming out every year. Now let's just hope the Blue Bomber manages to strike that perfect balance and continue building up its momentum.
I still want to see a Nintendo fails list. I like Nintendo but I admit that they've got flaws and I NEVER want them to repeat their mistakes & want to see them improve.
@@WhiteDarkness3113 nintendo is rather scary when it comes to fanmade content. fans remade metroid 2, nintendo shuts it down then they make their own remake of metroid 2. that might have been a bad PR move. forcing brawlx3 to take down nintendo related music was also a nasty move that does nothing but sour their reputation. at least the channel is still up personally, my biggest gripe with nintendo is how they treat the fire emblem series in spinoffs. the series itself is flawed, but otherwise great, but they have no idea how to represent the series. fire emblem spinoffs put too much emphasis on shadow dragon, awakening and fates, leaving fans of the other games feeling left behind (fire emblem warriors comes to mind), and there are too many sword wielding FE characters in smash bros despite there being beloved main characters not wielding swords (ephraim and hector both won a popularity contest in the same year, and in a game series with hundreds of playable characters, that says a lot)

I hate that companies in general use DLC as an excuse to release a bare bones game at launch and then add content in a piece meal instead of just putting it in the game in the first place. The longevity of a game is always tied to what is available fresh out of the box. I can't be the only person who thinks like this can I?
About the Mega Man Legends 3 one, even though it was messed up on what Capcom did i feel that it might've been Keiji Inafune's fault since he left Capcom before finishing the game
Isaiah Rivers Not only that but when MML3 announced, the game was barely in development. That’s huge no-no to reveal a barely made game while showing a gameplay...
Isaiah Rivers inafune caused a lot of issues for the company he was the reason capcom tried to “westify” themselves which led to messes like bionic commando 09 and DmC: devil may cry
Ljacfl It’s worth noting he made that statement that Japan was way behind during the PS3/Xbox-360 era, which I think he...might’ve been right if he stated that now since we’re in an era where lolis and sub-par graphics are around now... Then again, well I wish CAPCOM utilized different companies around than the D-ranked studios like Sparks Unlimited, like...Imagined CAPCOM working with id Software...
12:40 In there defense, the new MvCI characters were actually unique, most of the BBxTB characters were just reused assets from previous games ported over. Not that MvCI isn't clearly guilty of this, any carried over characters are basically just reskined from MvC3, but they at least created new characters somewhat, BBxTB is basically just reused assets the whole way save for the cast of RWBY..
And butchered the reused characters they brought in, especially the BB and Persona characters. All because they didn't want to use the proper ABCD system they all shared and instead decided to make a 2 button fighting game.
The problem is it isn't capcom at all at fault with mighty no. 9. The thing is keiji inafune was never a creator, he was a businessman. Another problem is how they treat ace attorney fans, specifically outside of japan. There are still 3 games that haven't been officially localized, anything that we do get don't get physical copies outside of japan, japan get's all of sorts of merchandise where we barely get anything, and they outright lied to us when they said 2018 was going to be a good year for ace attorney even though all we got was season 2 of the anime no one liked and an announcement for the original trilogy being ported to modern platforms, even though it had been ported to 3ds and most fans didn't care, and it also took months to come out after it's Japanese release even though the games had already been translated and we still didn't get physical releases. I'm aware the series doesn't sell as well as other capcom franchises but it still has a die hard fanbase and yet it feels like they just forget it exists most of the time. To give them a little credit, as far as I'm aware they didn't make any attempt to take down the fan translations of both investigation 2 and The Great Ace Attorney.
Gotta say the only thing I would've added was the fact that Capcom LOVES re-releasing the same games over and over again. RE2, MMLC, MMXLC, SF2, SF3... Hell, they've re-released nearly all of the fighters over and over again. Capcom, we want NEW Rival Schools games, not a re-release of Street Fighter II on Switch. We want Mega Man X to NOT end on a cliffhanger, not for you to just sell the games we've already played to us again. It's as bad as Hollywood remaking classic movies because they've run out of ideas. Did we really NEED Resident Evil 2 again? Do we NEED another Final Fight collection?
10: Ah yes, the 30 different versions of Street Fighter 2. 9: Piracy: Don’t do it fools. 8: The tale of vanilla Street Fighter 5. Those were dark times indeed. 7: Poor Resident Evil 6. I really hope the future stays bright for Capcom.
A few things that should make that list is: nintendo switch online, wii u, and making enemies with sony after refusing to use disc technology in the n64 era
Most people probably forgot about this, but another thing to add for #1 is capcom used the scraps of MML3 to make "Gaist Crusher" on the 3DS, and that game only sold 50,000 units. And I talked about this in one of my old videos from years ago. So capcom wants to make a game that DOESN'T SELL over something that is guaranteed to sell?

Actually Keiji Inafune had very little to do with Megaman in the first place so him leaving really didn't impact the franchise. As Mighty Number 9 shows in all honesty it was probably for the best.
Not really. He was director for a few games. It's just that his input wasn't really essential or unique like with Kojima and the Metal Gear series.

Oh that was Fawful. Completely forgot about him entirely
Needless to say, the constant 'Unmissable' being used everywhere made Franziska von Karma's abuse of the word 'Fool' look tame in comparison.
at least the port did something great. You can now see what examinable, and what you've already examined
Well this aged well.
Great Ace Attorney localization is a thing, investigations 2 is coming out in America, and theirs rumors of ace attorney 7.
Speaking of RE4, whatever happened with the original trainwreck of a PC port, was Ubisoft's fault.
Same for the Onimusha and DMC3 ports.
Aww yes those train wrecks

Companies wouldn’t have to learn if they were already great
Jack F A lotta things happened when most of the original teams left Capcom.
-Screw you Sw1tcher for-

Call me a Capcom sheep but at least my faith is not entirely misplaced.
Emil Omnic I never said capcom is a bad company they are one of my favorites now of days
Jack F Yeah I know. I wqs just generally-speaking. Still there are people nowadays that are still salty and dont let go of their past mistakes and pretty much ignore all the good things they did recently (not referring to TQG and the other guy btw). I'm just glad they got their traction back and hope they keep it going.
Monster Hunter didn't exactly just suddenly become great. It had been for quite a while, if MH had one issue was remaining on outdated tech limiting a wider audience.

They Killed Sengoku basara?! How?!
@@RoninZeroReaper Yukimura-den bombed so hard. And after that, are there no wonders that Koei's Musou version still lived, and as of Basara, Capcom's #3 on this list suddenly sounded like a logical step after such a gigantic bomb?
Ugh...
The lawsuit that Capcom had filed against Koei Tecmo at least deserves an honourable mention
Interesting. I never heard of that, just what exactly happened?
@medoagamer9497 in 2014 Capcom sued Koei Tecmo, claiming they came up with things that other gaming companies came up with and were trying to get 28 million dollars and have a bunch of Koei Tecmo's games set to be released that year be suspended. Clearly failed but yeah
The biggest capcom failure in my opinion is how they milked the nostalgia with street fighter 2 and the nes Megaman games.
Yeah. ESPECIALLY YOU STREET FIGHTER 2!!!
Or how they re-released the X series without fixing X6 and X7. I personally see why people hate X7, but I'd be lying if I said I don't see it as a guilty pleasure.

Capcom Infinite’s collector’s edition...
The list goes on, but I hope you get the general gist. I love Capcom, but they truly make some boneheaded decisions.
and of course...dlc on disk from streen fighter x tekken I think wws the game
I don't think it'll make the list, knowing Josh's opinion of Okami, but I think giving Clover Studio, the ones who made Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and God Hand, the boot after the inaccurate and scathing reviews for god hand. Clover Studio would go on to reform as Platinum studios, and considering how many great titles they managed to make on their on it goes to show how poor of a decision it was in the long run.

Further searching shows more stories with situations just as bad.

wiuth regard to your comments about overworking and unions, overworking is a fact of life in japan and is considered standered practice, hell working yourself to the point of passing out is considered an honerable thing to the point wheree in some companies your boss catching you napping every so often will get you a bonus rather then fired as it indicates you've given so much effort you are literaly passing out in your work space
also in japan...unions for the most part don't exist.
video games companies are based and run largely in japan....dost thou now comprhend?

@@dupin9251 i have seen that message, but i still think it was an unnecessary move on nintendos part. they had more to lose than gain by taking down the videos. still, i am glad the channel was not taken down entirely. more unscrupulous companies would have done that
So...
EA = Gluttony
Konami = Wrath
Sony = Pride
What exactly is Capcom?
I think one of the main reason Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite failed was because it had to compete with Dragon Ball FighterZ and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.
SSJ4 Jason it fail because it was trash

Lyric Response to MvC:Infinite
This is not our cup of tea.
This is not the game we need.
Sick of limit-ing roster choices,
please respect the legacy!
An Little Fact About Why Capcom Bring Newer Versions Of Street Fighter 2.
It Was Because Of Some Bootleggers Made Their Own Version Of Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition, Called It... "Street Fighter 2 Rainbow Edition"
So... Bootleggers Just Made Capcom Many Other Versions Of Street Fighter 2's And Input The Infamous "Suicide Battery" To Prevent Other Bootleggers To Make Other Bootlegged Pirate Versions Of Street Fighter 2.
And adding onto the Megaman issues... Megaman Star Force 4. Canceled due to low sales of previous Star Force games.
Sfv is big disappointment for all Chun-Li & Guile fan!
This game nerf both Chun-Li and Guile!
I hate that companies in general use DLC as an excuse to release a bare bones game at launch and then add content in a piece meal instead of just putting it in the game in the first place. The longevity of a game is always tied to what is available fresh out of the box. I can't be the only person who thinks like this can I?
Also love that cameo form fawful’s minion
Firing someone from being worked to the point of hospitalization?
Wow, that's a dumb reason to fire someone.
Ah yes the collab we’ve been waiting for.
2 and 1 should be switched in my opinion, abusing workers to the point where they bail is worse than disappointing fans and betraying a single worker.
Fernie Fernandez what would they even make with ID
Ljacfl Well, with id Software, I thought of any kinda spin-offs of Devil May Cry, than again...Dead Rising, maybe...!?
I'm surprised Josh and Wambu haven't done a collab. At least not one that I know of.
0:57 well their fighting game division needs work. MVCI and SFV are a mess in their business practices
Carl Bloke Imagined a MARVEL vs SNK...!
Street Fighter’s main market was the arcade and constant updates made sense as we weren’t buying the game but pumping coins into the latest version.
DMC should be on this list. I will always hate that reboot.
#RINPRebootDmC
He was always the guy who tweaked and said certain things to make good megaman game... YALL DIDN'T DO YOUR RESEARCH PROPERLY. Also as much as im a megaman fan... is it as bad as scams or paying for a fucking ending of a game!?
MN9 might as well be a scam.
Hello from six years since the release of mega man 11
So, what about Asura's wrath? You don't need to get the dlc for the true ending?
Capcom really missed the cash cow when they cancelled Mega Man Universe, based on how Mario Maker went...
you should have given a honorable mention to the recent devil may cry on switch BS
Wait is it not happening?
@@isthisboostedmode6106 its JUST the first game not the full HD collection it has no extra content and will likely be 30 bucks meaning you pay more for less
ladyaceina ok I heard about it coming but not that by that is pretty stupid as it’s not a cartridge and would be pretty expensive 10-15 would be acceptable like the FF7 Rerelease
I can understand that not being on here because it probably wasn't a thing when they started writing this.
To give them a little credit, as far as I'm aware they didn't make any attempt to take down the fan translations of both investigation 2 and The Great Ace Attorney.
can we get top 10 nintendo fails
I am disappointed by the lack of mentioning Breath of Fire as a whole and specifically Breath of Fire 6.
11:46 Hey fawful's minion!
Not localizing three AA games. 1. For me,
Asura's Wrath was a great anime, which is why I was so mad that you had to buy the finale seperately
Mega Man, Rayman and Sonic are in the same boat
you sure about that chief? rayman was thrown away in place of the *sigh* the rabbids.
@@Cave_Enemigo Rayman is back.
And now MVC2 has returned
10: Ah yes, the 30 different versions of Street Fighter 2.
9: Piracy: Don’t do it fools.
8: The tale of vanilla Street Fighter 5. Those were dark times indeed.
7: Poor Resident Evil 6. Good thing Resident Evil has gotten better. Hope RE3 is remade, #MrXGonnaGiveItToYa
6: MVC Infinite had so much potential and should’ve been an awesome game.
5: An awful reboot of a classic game.
4: Capcom still hasn’t learned with dlc.
3: I would kill to have either a remake or a sequel for Godhand.
2: Capcom overworking people.
1: It’s been a rough history for Megaman fans. I really hope the future stays bright for Capcom.
There are still a few steps left before we can say Capcom is back in CapGod territory.
I aked qg on the New adventures of mega man comics from Brazil but he told me that it wasnt capcoms fault
You know the number transition makes me think of Cap running at Cap
Nintendo Fails?
A few things that should make that list is: nintendo switch online, wii u, and making enemies with sony after refusing to use disc technology in the n64 era
Most people probably forgot about this, but another thing to add for #1 is capcom used the scraps of MML3 to make "Gaist Crusher" on the 3DS, and that game only sold 50,000 units.
And I talked about this in one of my old videos from years ago. So capcom wants to make a game that DOESN'T SELL over something that is guaranteed to sell?
A capcom fail list
Our prayers have been answered
I loved this countdown video. It even included Fawful's Minion! Collabs like this are just great to see, but I bet they take a lot of work to make them so good.
