    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On UA-cam and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
    We look at 3 things:
    1. How to stop slicing your driver
    2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

I would love to be selected, I've got totally lost with my iron swing trying to improve and learn how to shape shots. Same with my driver it doesn't come out of the bag as its so inconsistent I don't know where I'm am with it. Love the videos, although great to watch I can't same to put them into practice.

Thank you so much for opening my eyes to what a golfswing really is. Your channel was the first I found taking up golf again after almost 15 years. With your talent to focus on a few elements, you encouraged me to go deeper into the understanding of the things I want to accomplish. Although almost 70, and over 30 years addicted to the game, now I seem to have an idea of what its all about.
    Thanks again,

What I really, really appreciated was the pace of this lesson, Danny. So often, I start progressing through your teaching videos, but then realize later that I'm doing the first part incorrectly and it just leads to spinning my wheels, so to speak. These types of teaching lessons are definitely helpful. And I can just sense, Danny, how you keep working on what's the best way to help us. I see this steady evolution happening with your different explanations and experimenting about how to explain things and how to shows us movements,. I am enormously appreciative of these efforts and your commitment to us. For me, over and over again, I see that my right shoulder just habitually wants to turn early. If it wasn't for filming myself, I just would never realize this. And as you've said, if you keep moving that shoulder first, nothing else will work. The idea of letting the club "drop' eludes me!!! And lastly, I also see how your online teaching set up continues to evolve, but I've become confused about the best way to begin this process- and how long the wait times are. What I most wish for is the one to one instruction. I am so appreciative of you Danny, I can't wait to actually pay you for your talents!!!! My golf game can't wait either. A million thank you's!!!! -Doug

Your explanations for correction are simple and well presented, such as doing things in stages. These videos together with your others are a fantastic package. The hammer analogy was great. To get power, you swing the hammer in an arc, you don’t push it on a straight path to the nail. Going straight might get you to the nailhead, but then you’re uselessly pushing the nail into the wood.

This was an excellent lesson video Danny! You pointed out a number of key points to your student that we golfers should all pay attention to. I have recently started paying more attention to where the club head is and also allowing gravity to work with me not against me. Going to have to try this advice out. I’m one of those people that has been working and focusing sooo much on the body movements, especially lower body, and how to get the right side bend in the golf swing. Things were going well to begin this season but have quickly gone really bad. Either pushing way ti the right, or hitting huge hooks. With no consistency. I’ve definitely had some early extension and other goofy stuff happening when I looked a videos, similar to your student here. I’m gonna try this out to get back to feeling where the club is and just letting it swing freely. I hope it’ll help! Keep up the vids! You’re videos are always so simple to follow and very informative.

This lesson along with all your videos are so helpful Danny. This central swing thought has changed my golf swing. Where were you 30 years ago!? If I had these central themes in my head when I first started playing, I would have a better back and stronger ego😀 Let me know if you're ever in the Atlanta, GA area. God Bless Danny!!

Love your teachings Danny simply but effective no complicated instructions. One thing that has transformed my game lately is the back (left shoulder actually right handed player) to the target feeling at the start of my downswing. Always have had trouble getting forward with my swing but this seems to be working for me.

I enjoy watching videos on UA-cam but live lessons (with me and a coach) are what work best for me. Will be very happy to fly over to have a lesson with you, when selected.

Excellent video as ever Danny. Great content, very understandable - can wait to try it. Think I have been falling back to hit up. Need to just focus on keeping that driver on plane 👍🏼

This is one of the best golf lesson video lessons I have ever watched. I immediately made changes based on Danny’s video and I’m hitting it more flush, straighter and longer. Thank u

Hi Danny, I have been struggling with my driver lately going left and right and I was definitely getting stuck just as you had described. I went to the driving range today. I was really able to put this into action immediately on my 1st swing. What a difference. I was also hitting from a mat with a low T which I hate but when I hit it good which was 7 out of 10 times it was a low penetrating draw just beautiful. Thank you so much this makes so much sense to keep your arms in front of you as you move through the shot. I tend to get stuck behind because I bring it way too far on the inside and then I end up hitting behind the golf ball just like you said because I'm leaning backwards in a flipping my hands through. Thank you so much. Obviously it wasn't perfect and I still hit them to the right but I'll keep working on it and report back.

First of all, thanks Danny. I had exactly the same problem as Paul. After practicing the elements in this video I have improved so much. I have been watched so many videos stating that you must swing 'in to out' I got locked into bad strikes for a long time. on Friday/Saturday I won my clubs Presidents Cup! Thanks again. Tony.

Update - this works! I took my phone with me to the practice range and soon my flat turn was becoming much more on plane, and I went from a multitude of swing thoughts to just concentrating on keeping the club face on plane & the result was much improved shape and less destructive shots - next step the course! Thanks Danny!

Danny of all the Youubers I love your ability to simplify and build on concepts. My only regret is that it is only once per week. I am a good ball striker, but getting back to basics always reinforces what NEEDS to happen. Thank you!!

Hi Danny. I love your kindness and the way you teach. Would be nice to see the video teaching the draw that you said at the end of the video. Many different videos out there, set up square, set up close, rolling the face... I'm a mess. Regards from Spain.

Fantastic video and lesson, I have basically many of the same issues that the driver and irons go left right and down the middle, so understanding the weight of the club and where the head is that’s what I’ll be working on, I got fitted for irons before Christmas and have really struggled with them and even thought of buying new to see if that made any difference but going to work on you lesson to see if this works for me, I did have lesson couple of weeks ago and my takeaway was good it was all down to my downswing so definitely going to give this a try at the range, thanks Danny 👍
