I was there today. Both Hillary and Barack gave great speeches, the vibe was friendly and purposeful, and we had beautiful weather. The rain held off until the event was over, but the cool breeze of the cold front arrived just in time to refresh us as we left this Unity Event.
All I can say is: "Class act, Hill! Classic act! Thank you for being so incredibly gracious." I still think she was the stronger candidate, but UNITY is what we need right now! She rises above her own disappointment to do what's right for the country.
Great Job my friends. Great job! Dreams do come true. As a country we need to unite. Over the past few years we have been separated by our views, political opinions and way of life. I love this country.
Together they are an unstoppable force for change and for unity in this country and in moving toward restoration of the ideals of our nation. The world is watching and what a wonderful team they make.
Wonderful speeches Hillary and Obama!! Thank you for finally UNITING the American people! Although I'm an Independent who has voted for both Democrats and Republicans in past elections, I've lived to regret pulling the lever for a Republican! So this coming November I will be voting for the Democratic Party [Barack Obama] all the way.
lets keep unitizing and coming together. words have been said things have been done but lets come together now Democrats. dont forget to REGISTER! rock your right.
If you want to give the country back to the people, why not use the Internet to change the way democracy works. We need an online parliament where every person is a representative of the people, where good ideas and the truth automatically are highlighted. Any president should then promise to serve the will of the people. Representative democracy was invented before the airplane, before the telephone and before the Internet. We need to upgrade democracy.
I loved both Hillary and Obama's speeches! To be honest, I was smiling throughout the whole thing. Thank you Hillary! As Obama said, you rock! :D Obama '08!
This man is truly a colossal figure in our generation. I'm happy and optimistic that america under his leadership will regain its glory. God bless us all and let's go and change the world. Obama 08!
Democracy is about pure competition to search for the best. All the presidential candidates have competed vehemently. Now it has finally been decided that Obama is the best for the "Democratic" side, and that McCain is the best for the "Republican" side. And now the American people will have to decide on the better leader between the two competitors left in this democratic American game that we all admire. Let the freedom ring. I hope that we'll experience "Change" in America soon.
Wonderful and heartfelt speeches by both Senators. A tear came out of my eye by the 14th minute of this video. Can you John Lennon (imagine) a double history event if Obama became the President and Hillary became the Vice President? The best was when Hillary spoke about the 2 sides of a coin. :) Miss Lisa
Same here. He better and he must cuz he'll be strong if he chooses her. And, since Hillary tried to win the Nomination but didn't win, she deserves to become VP.
Wonderful speeches given by both Obama and Clinton...I'm so very happy they have joined forces...we so desperately need change in American. We simply can't have another Bush term. Thank you Hillary for coming aboard and fight for change with Obama!!! Let's go out and win our Country back!!!! Obama '08
I hope you become VP Hillary. I still have faith in you. Plus, Barak needs a brilliant guide and that guide is you to become VP. I really hope he's supporting you to get what you want.
Thank you for sharing this video! I was not able to watch this event today. Thank you Hillary! Thank you Barack! Let's UNITE, REGISTER if you haven't and VOTE for Obama this November. Our country & the world depends on YOU. Please VOTE for Obama!
As a Hillary supporter, I urge Obama to choose her as his running mate. The two together is an unstoppable powerhouse and will definitely get the McCain camp running in the other direction--away from Washington! roseann116
The only negative about Sen. Clinton that gives me pause is her husband. If he could quit pouting and TRULY stand behind his wife's magnanimity, I would lose the aforementioned hesitance. In any case, we as a nation MUST keep McNeoCain out of the White House. Please, people, vote Obama/Whoever!!!
I was against Obama/Hillary during the primaries because it got quite heated at times, but I am starting to come around to the idea and honestly wouldn't mind it now. They went at each other pretty hard a few times, but when you actually look at the issues (and possible supreme court ramifications) it isn't difficult math to see that we should all be united.
Hillary Clinton. You really do rock! She would be great in a role similar to Al Gore who just became the man on climate change. What about health care? Her impact could be tremendous. Whatever she does she will truly do a great job!
Amen. Hillary will be a great Senator (and/or Governor) for the next eight years, and barring any Obamaesque candidate, be back in 2016 and be the first female president. She's not the best politician, alas, but she's very much on the same page as Obama, always has been.
Mark my words...Hillary will be on the ticket! I am an Obama supporter who believes that Hillary's positives outweigh her negatives. America loves to witness unlikely events! Make it happen Barack! Obama / Clinton 08!
I cannot believe a few Clintonites will support John McSame Bush the III... Oviously these few are not true on the ISSUES! Senator Clinton, Thank you for your support! She is right on the issues and I have always loved and respect the Clintons... I will VOTE 4 OBAMA!
I use to dislike this woman on some unfair basis, but now I have nothing but respect and inspiration, because of the fact that shes a woman and she went toe to toe in a man dominant democracy and in my eyes, she came out a winner. To all hillary supporters, I know through time our differences in views will soon come as one, with hillarys supporters on deck, there is no way john McCain will win this election. Democrats 08!
all e need now is an Obama/Clinton ticket. Come on Barak, see the light. have an apiphany, ring the bell and pick Hillary. You will both look great on a campaign poster!!!
I agree that McCain has nothing to offer Hillary supporters on any meaningful issue. Moving from Hillary to McCain definitely means that you are not voting on any real issue. I disagree though that she is voting "as a feminist" Is McCain more of a feminist than Obama? Certainly not. People who would switch to McCain are either voting out of spite after a bitter primary, or they are voting for him only because they want to vote against Obama out of either overt racism or secretive racism.
I also agree this is a push for a united democratic party. Ultimately, it is Obama's decision as to who would do the best job in office, and that is exactly who should be VP, the best for the job. If he decides it is Clinton, good. If it is someone else I don't think that will hurt his odds, or at least shouldn't because Obama truely is the best canidate.
I'm not sure if the parties are giving us any peoples candidate to vote for, but I do THINK we just saw a lot of money change hands. One thing I'm certain of, We can do way, way, way better than Bush's Oil BS. It seems as though the wealthy of this country have forsaken it. Benadict Arnolds, all of them.
You know, I was against Obama/Hillary during the primaries, but I am really starting to come around to the idea. Yeah they both did some shitty things during the primary (mostly their aides to be honest), but it was a primary after all, and I agree with everything they both said in this event.
I don't know if he will choose her, but damn, they sure look strong together!
I was there today. Both Hillary and Barack gave great speeches, the vibe was friendly and purposeful, and we had beautiful weather. The rain held off until the event was over, but the cool breeze of the cold front arrived just in time to refresh us as we left this Unity Event.
Absolutely agree wonderful sense of possiblity as a team.
I like the speech. I love the fact that it's in Unity, New Hampshire. Coincidence? I think not. lol
So great to see them together!
Good speeches.
Very professional and warm-hearted.
We Must Still Keep Praying.
Truly THE Dream Team, an unstoppable combination. I am certainly now onboard.
What a moving scene to see these two side by side!
All I can say is: "Class act, Hill! Classic act! Thank you for being so incredibly gracious." I still think she was the stronger candidate, but UNITY is what we need right now! She rises above her own disappointment to do what's right for the country.

They've both come a long way.
Can't wait!!!

She rocks! Wonderful speech!!
An Obama/Clinton ticket would be unstoppable, but I think Obama will go for Wesley Clark with Clinton becoming Sec of state
Obama/Clinton 2008! An unstoppable political juggernaut that has the Republican Party shaking in their knees!
BARAK OBAMA 2008!!!
Wonderful and heartfelt speeches by both Senators. A tear came out of my eye by the 14th minute of this video. Who else can whole heartedly endorse Obama than generous clintons. Hats off to this great couple
GREAT DAY IN THE AMERICAN HISTORY!!!
I second that one
Seeing Obama and Hillary sharing the same stage truly gives us a glimpse at a very strong Democratic ticket.

Now Up to the white house!
Hillary Clinton. You really do rock! She would be great in a role similar to Al Gore who just became the man on climate change. What about health care? Her impact could be tremendous. Whatever she does she will truly do a great job!
Why is my comment regarding the positive Unity rally and the magic of an Obama/Clinton ticket being posted?
Oh please oh please let Obama win.
YES WE CAN

Amen. Hillary will be a great Senator (and/or Governor) for the next eight years, and barring any Obamaesque candidate, be back in 2016 and be the first female president. She's not the best politician, alas, but she's very much on the same page as Obama, always has been.
