1. Ensure there is no key in the ignition.
2. While sitting in driver’s seat, close all vehicle doors but do not lock them.
3. Insert first master key into the ignition switch (do not turn) and wait 5
seconds.
4. Remove key and insert second master key into the ignition switch (do not
turn) and wait 5 seconds.
5. Remove key and insert a valet key into the ignition (do not turn) and wait
5 seconds.
6. Remove key.
7. Once Auto Learn Mode has been closed, the immobilizer must be
resynchronized with the ECU before the car will start. Insert a MASTER key
into the ignition switch and turn to the ON position (do not crank the
vehicle!).
8. Insert the Toyota/Lexus OBD2 Resync Tool (shorts terminal 4 and 13) and
start a timer for 30 minutes.
9. Once 30 minutes has passed, remove the Resync Tool.
10. Turn ignition switch off and remove key.
11. Reinsert key and confirm that the vehicle can now be started.
Tip: If you would like to program less than 3 keys, Auto Learn Mode must be closed
manually: turn ignition switch on and then off 5 times within 10 seconds, then
remove the key from the ignition. If this doesn’t work, you will have to register 3
keys.

Hey I did all of the steps but how do I now program the keys manually? With the Autel IM608 theres no need to program manually right?
If just programming one key ,Cycle key from off to on 6 times .. Or manually cycle each key one by one must use 2-3 keys ..

Also, I did all the above with a used immobilizer for a 03 sequoia. I added 3 keys. The part number is a match. The security ligh goes off and stays off when I insert the key. But the car doesnt start. I did a continuity check from each of the 8 legs to the next component on the pc board. All good. Do I need to sync the new (used) immobilizer to the car ? I have flashed plenty of cars with no problem. It seems that the chip is good but something else is either a mismatch or faulty. Appreciate any tip. Thanks.
