Your racist view and generalisation shows that you know nothing about human rights, you're disrespecting everyone living on that part of the world. You (western people) think you're the only knows what human rights are but in fact you only know your benefits.
the 6,500 figure turns out NOT to be those "lost during world cup stadium construction": instead, these were simply the total (embassy-supplied) numbers of deaths among the total population of 5 south-Asian nationalities (total 1.4 million, and a majority of which didn't even work in the construction sector at all, let alone World Cup stadiums - 1000s instead working as doctors, lawyers, managers, teachers, nurses, drivers, shopkeepers, accountants, or not at all, as in children, spouses, dependent old-age parents) over a 10-year period. At 650 per year, that's in fact a VERY low mortality rate compared with, for instance, the UK, Germany, the US etc. Even when you only take the UK's 20-64 working-age population, to take account of the different age distribution in the migrant population, the mortality rate is no higher in the case of Qatar.

I love how the stadiums were made with sustainability in mind. Downsizing after the World Cup and ensuring their continued use is important in this time when white elephants are getting all the attention. Also, temporary stadiums are the future!
Sustainability in mind??? Where is that money coming from? Downsize all you want, you can't sustainably have 7 stadiums in a country with less than 3 million people. Temporary stadiums are not the future. The building costs are never gonna repay themselves for a handful of games, not to mention the human costs.
They should have build some Hotel Rooms too for the Fans coming from all around the World. Looking for hotel rooms for past few weeks and still there's nothing. Only there're 30000-50000 rooms all over qatar, when a single match itself has over 80000 spectators.
This entire World Cup set-up is a joke, and it’s only being held in Qatar because of FIFA corruption. Qatar leadership cared more about covering up the violent abuse of labourers than properly planning for this event.
Yeah, a country that bribed FIFA to get the World Cup and has had many labor issues building these stadiums. “Welcome” to the country that has the most restrictive religious and sexual freedoms on the planet. This is going to be a terrible World Cup.

the 6,500 figure turns out NOT to be those "lost during world cup stadium construction": instead, these were simply the total (embassy-supplied) numbers of deaths among the total population of 5 south-Asian nationalities (total 1.4 million, and a majority of which didn't even work in the construction sector at all, let alone World Cup stadiums - 1000s instead working as doctors, lawyers, managers, teachers, nurses, drivers, shopkeepers, accountants, or not at all, as in children, spouses, dependent old-age parents) over a 10-year period. At 650 per year, that's in fact a VERY low mortality rate compared with, for instance, the UK, Germany, the US etc. Even when you only take the UK's 20-64 working-age population, to take account of the different age distribution in the migrant population, the mortality rate is no higher in the case of Qatar.
@@gerdnonneman917 great info! Thank you.
@@gerdnonneman917 mate, this kind of people won't care about these details, they will keep telling you the same thing like a broken record and they will keep do so to make sure all the future tournaments are in their countries. But thanks for you thoughtful.
So from what ive seen 37 deaths are directly linked to the stadiums. Qatar claiming 34 of which were “not work related” but many of the ones they claim weren’t work related are people collapsing (probably from the heat). I can see how they are trying to say its not work related but it most definitely is.
i believe the total of general labor amounts to around 6,000
34? More like in the 1000s
@@Minimus. that is Data from India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. these death are nonproven to be related building the stadiums and are only numbers that these poeple have died in qatar since 2010. So far it is only 37 that are proven and 3 of them are concedered work related to the stadiums.
@@Minimus. that's how many migrants died over the 12 years the world cup was given to them. In a country with 90% immigrants, it isn't strange

6000+ people died for this!
Very good and informative video . Thanks.

IMO the world is so jealous about all these iconic stadiums that they are trying to find anything which can give them an excuse to point finger towards the organising nation. I am proud of Qatari nation who have marvelled these stadiums and trying to host very fisrt world tournament despite biased media around th world trying to depict them as an untolerable society
So many people lied how Russia 2018 would be a horrible WC but the Russians really rose up to the task like they always do. But no mainstream media is talking about Qatar. Especially the deaths... Qatar is the first and only world cup which I have felt no enthusiasm at all to watch. There is no hype; no passion just one biiiiig dark cloud over the event.
They did the same when it was hosted in Brazil and South Africa
@@truthbetold89 South Africa 2010 was by far the best world cup ever hosted
wonderful stadium think it will be the best world cup ever.
Stadiums make no difference whatsoever to the quality of football played in them.
@@Geloescht2234 well that's your opinion.
r.i.p to all thos eppl who died🙏
Kitsch, kitsch, kitsch, kitsch, kitsch, kitsch, kitsch, and... oh wait...more kitsch ... none of this even touches the toes of a Wembley, Maracana, San Siro, Azteca, Camp Nou, Santiago, Anfield and so on.
I am blown away by the ingenuity and creativity. Great job to all.
I love how the stadiums were made with sustainability in mind. Downsizing after the World Cup and ensuring their continued use is important in this time when white elephants are getting all the attention.
Also, temporary stadiums are the future!
@Chef Duckits sad, it happened in Brazil and South Africa with similar death tolls. Fifa needs to fix this
@@YTShortsBlitz 800 times more death tolls is not similar
Sustainability in mind??? Where is that money coming from? Downsize all you want, you can't sustainably have 7 stadiums in a country with less than 3 million people. Temporary stadiums are not the future. The building costs are never gonna repay themselves for a handful of games, not to mention the human costs.
Welcome to the World Of Qatar 🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦🇶🇦✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻🤍😍😇🇶🇦
Great Qatar
Beautiful Qatar
Less expectation, great success, maximum joy!
They should have build some Hotel Rooms too for the Fans coming from all around the World. Looking for hotel rooms for past few weeks and still there's nothing. Only there're 30000-50000 rooms all over qatar, when a single match itself has over 80000 spectators.
There`s still plenty of time, just throw a few more bodies in.
This entire World Cup set-up is a joke, and it’s only being held in Qatar because of FIFA corruption. Qatar leadership cared more about covering up the violent abuse of labourers than properly planning for this event.

Going to be one of the best organised world cup
No. Worst. Already the worst. It’s in December, horrible time zones, and thousands of people died making it
your of your rocker its going to be the worst and after the world cup all them stadiums going to be neglected like the brazilians ones
They did a great job organizing indentured servants to die creating the stadiums. Very organized.
@@voidset4875 that's not related to football

Yeah, a country that bribed FIFA to get the World Cup and has had many labor issues building these stadiums. “Welcome” to the country that has the most restrictive religious and sexual freedoms on the planet. This is going to be a terrible World Cup.

I like Qatar, it is a nice country
I miss Qatar
Why do you miss it?
Accidents always happen on construction sites, often with a fatal outcome. But the fact that the workers and their families are not being compensated is a disgrace. Especially since the Qataris and FIFA have large financial resources
It is a Modern Day Marvel and in a Recycling way Kudos Qatar
How about having the World Cup in countries with existing stadiums that can handle such a tournament so that so much money doesn’t have to be wasted in building stadiums for something that ends so relatively quickly?
Ok, let's put it this way, why not Qatar be the only place to host world football cup permanently??? how you go about that ????? but i believe, hosting world football cup is mostly closely linked to a business perspective. No country would agree to limit hosting to one place.
