Eloy Casagrande. That's cool, he's an awesome drummer.
Eloy would be good drummer for Slipknot. But tbh they can just get any drummer with good skills, Jay was only performer while most songs were written by Jim, Corey and Clown.
That was no excuse to drop him though. It was never hidden information that he wasn't writing the music. If they wanted him writing, they should've went over that before hiring him.

I think Eloy will make a difference on the writing process, if they allow him to.
I believe slipknots at their final stop. That's why they willingly gave out the name of the two new members.

@@or1on89 yeah...sure...and Corey said he would delete himself on stage before he turns 30...its nothing but PR. They stole the idea with the masks from Mushroom Head an ran with it just to impress their light minded audience.
I downloaded the video and ran it through Notepad myself, and it doesn't seem to me that they did this intentionally. There's too much code information, and what news outlets, channels and pages are now spreading is a gross simplification of it - the names of the band members aren't even all in the same portion of the code and they're scattered among several other unrelated file names, graphic effects and other technical info. Whoever first looked into this source code had to have a lot of patience reading through all of it in hopes of finding any valuable secrets. I think it was a genuine oversight.

The numbers in front of “modems” is not the number of downloads it has, as you’re alluding to. That’s the speed of the dialup modems available around that time. Things were compressed differently for different speeds.
I used to love Slipknot. I was upset when they fired Joey but when I found out they let him go under the 'assumption' that he was on drugs when he really had transverse myelitis that was affecting him playing and not drugs. I stopped listening to them after that. I still love Joey and he was one of the best drummers ever. Instead of talking to him about what's going on or even giving him a drug test they just let him go and it was clown who was his good friend in real life before the band even existed. They dropped him suddenly and cowardly just like they did Weinberg. So yeah I swept my hands with them after that. All the decisions that are made like that in the band are from clown.

I enderstand that Slipknot isn't tell us everything that is happening in the band. There is a lot of shit that they don't tell us about, and I'm allright with this. What I don't enderstand, is that they don't at least tell us why band members are being fired. I get it, it is fucking complicated to keep things right when there is 9 guys in 1 band, but still. Slipknot helped me with some bad shit during my life, and watching members go away like this, with no explication, is hard. Despite all of that, I still love these 9 crazy good looking motherfuckers. I hope their last show will be amazing.

@or1on89 I'm not saying Joey was bad. He's a great drummer. Love everything he did for Slipknot. Slipknot sounded better live when they kicked him out honestly. After Vol 3 he started to go downhill. It's the ugly truth. Slipknot is gonna sound so heavy with Eloy on drums.

Yeah. They said it themselves. THey weren't happy about their "duties" to their label. The latest album not even the band was really feeling it, but they came through and ended that cycle of their carreers.
Now everything changes. Now they'll give the shots, it might be for the best, or worst. Only time will tell
Only thing I can say, though. Is that I'm gonna be around to listen to it whenever it drops.

If ya know a band lasts as long as Slipknot, or Mr Bungle or any one in music... it's inevitable that members will be replaced, whether because a member left, fired or died ultimately. yes, Slipknot has historically been against replacing members and saying "it'll not be the same slipknot" and y'know what? they were right, but you can't not exist in a current state and not have replaced members along the way. So stop picking fights on Slipknot/Loudwire and Rock Feed videos. Behave thyself or be humbled. What you fans expect is impossible. It's impossible to get around mourning and life happening. Shit happens, life happens, and you forget and undercut the meaning of what a Real band has to do for their surviving members while they age. Let them make more music and tour with new members, or what? Quit and leave the legacy of the 90's and 00's alone? If anyone in the fandom of any band were to run a bands life, it'd be impossible to please that person. Stop trying to do that to Corey and to all the other fans who are new, and to the Outlets of the news. It's not their job to baby you, you big babies. heal grow and be better to each other. Which means , more money goes to legacy players and the new guys are paid less because they're new. Not because of their inexperience, but honestly the hope is that if they last long. Unlike how they treated Jay, who is a bit of a Nepo dude, no hate there... but... but... You get more later in your career if you last that long. Is that fair as a trade off? More brands for bands like Slipknot? Korn and Mudvayne? Manson? Rammstein? If they have to be in a commercial to make those ends meet, and also have a lasting impact on Pop and Metal culture at LARGE? Of course they deserve to be there. OG slipknot, well, diff animal diff times. Every so often the industry is shaken because of Inflation... so if you can't pay taxes or bills, mortgages because you're an artist with 9 other dudes in a mental metal band? Dude, I cannot imagine the in-fighting over pay checks which is NOT rock and roll. You start a band with brothers, and you respect each other and divyy it up. 9 ways? Ok then... your only as far as that can go... Fans and Metal heads are so like Punk rock fans with the bands, like "oh you sold your soul man? I dunno..." Is it more or less evil than a Rock band compared to a Nepo Kid to a Rock or even a Pop star? No difference, except life style. They should be not forced to have their own band but also a diff approach to life. They're at least well off, Taylor Swift or Billie Eiiilsh? Home grown or Industry plant Nepotism? Whereas Corey and Clown take care of their kids, and make sure... to an extent they can exist on their own. Which is more responsible than any pop star. They can do it on their own now, ,because Vended is not Slipknot or Adjacent to them. At this point, they reflect the position of Iowa status Album Knot. They got a leg up but they did the necessary touring to Achieve that goal and earn their place. Can a modern day Punk Rock Pop Star just start out like that? They'd rather pay TO THE NOSE to get there... So stuff it Knot fans. Slipknot toured and toured grueling hours and years to get here, and they have ARRIVED. Been here for a while. Get used to it. slipknot has always had tons of haters for some weird reason. their old fans continue to be obsessed with the band but hate harshly on anything past Iowa. They follow them on social media, internet and youtube just to comment hate. it's a pathetic life but that's how some people are. hating yet still obsessed
