- BBC preschool programme from 1981, presented alternately by Carol Leader (as in this video - she looks rather a lot more manic than I remember) and Fred Harris (interestingly, before he became an actual schools IT programme presenter).
This one's about a crow, apparently. And I'm sure I wasn't the only one who wanted one of those yellow buggies.
Remember those times when computers were truly magical and not just mundane?
I had a strange urge to look up some of the shows I watched as a kid. I find it amazing that at 32 I can watch this and remember so much about having not seen it since I was 3! The sounds and visuals which seem pretty crap by today's standards were very vivid. I remember being fascinated with details like chockablocks eerie vocorder voice when it sang songs back- or the images appearing in the tombola.

I loved the Rockablocks! This programme was one of my favourites as a child!
Bring back Jo Crow!!!!! Lmao. But they should. We should start a movement. To have this show brought back. That'll sort today's kids out!
I was 5 then,loved this programme,i remember wanting that machine (Chockablock) lol oh well i've got a comp now not the same as chocoblock! but close ha ha
Chockablock was perfect...he never crashed or got a single program error!!
OMFG!! LMAO! what characters. And they don't make em like this now. If they had of done, our 18-25 yr olds wouldn't b in to all the crazy stuff they do.
Jo Crow?... Didn't this get released as a single? Maybe he was shot out of the sky, eventually. Lol. But he presenter was spunky. I'd give her a cuddle. Even now.

Now I can think of something that ryhmes with clock! Oooh the innuendo. But I used to enjoy this programme as a kid.

Carol leader was a right Spunk-Pot, then. I remember watching this when...well...u get the picture...
I'm SURE there was also a presenter called Sheila something, she had short spikyish hair, and she also presented a show similar to TAKE HART, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called! Does anybody know what I'm talking about??

Seems kids TV was a lot better in the old days. This seems like it was educational wheras these days, kids TV seems full of characters who cannot even talk properly (Teletubbies, Boo-Bah's, In The Night Garden).
