- Yes... I bought the cheapest automatic mechanical watch I could find (At least on that day) from Amazom, and here is my review of the watch.

If someone are in to watchmaking as a hobby, this is a fine watch to practice on. It's inexpensive and all the parts are there.
Have you seen the Winner brand also have a triangular mechanical watch?. It has a little Hamilton Ventura wibe over it.
I purchased this watch about 6mos ago. I replaced the band with a quality black leather with contrasting white stitching unit. It's inexpensive but looks nice, keeps good time and has been reliable so far. If anything does happen, it's easily replaceable. Appreciate the comprehensive review.
My $400 Seiko looses about 10 seconds a day. So if that counter is accurate it’s better than mine
The 2813 is a good design but the assembly line construction by cheap labour does not bode well. They are usually lacking oil especially in the winding parts with debris in it.

Would you want to put together a pocket watch of mine it’s a 1936 black ingraham small faced pocket watch it fell out of my pocket one day and I tryed to fix it but couldn’t put it back together I bought a broken one for refrance but still couldn’t figure it out I love pocket watches and sadly I can’t use mine
I own a watch by Forsining which is another T-Winner brand it’s an automatic watch that I wear occasionally, it’s a great watch in my opinion and I’ve seen some models sold locally for $400, although I wouldn’t pay that much for it

As of Aug 2022, that watch is also by Vigoroso, the Winner model. Today it sells for $23. 98 on Amazon. Amazon does have other clearance watches as low as 10 Cents, but with high postage.
And their (non-automatic) skeletons are even cheaper.
I'm actually surprised they pulled that watch off at that price, but you can really see where a little extra time and money would take it. Take a look at the Berny Railway watch, for $20 more you get a marginally better but proven bi-directional movement (Sea-gull TY2806/ST16), sapphire glass, 50 M wr and a strap that will last past the 5 hour mark. With the better movement and stem sealing this one should still retail for under $35, but they need to get the lug width sorted out and just make it 20 mm.
Hi i belive the movement is the chinese unified movement with an automatic bridge, i've also heard tongji in respect to it also, not much info about them, was first watch movement i took apart years ago on my watchmaking journey, they do work and all the parts are there not the best materials. Cheers.

If it’s always been that way, I would say that it was the clutch gears and how they were manufactured. If it has gotten more difficult over time, then there are several reasons. Wear, debris, dried oil. Etc.

Well, maybe they want to show off the scratches so they put show case backing on it, lol, I do like the date wheel showing the previous and ahead by two days I guess so you can go, what was the date yesterday or what will the date be in two days, lol it's a quirky little thing. But you're right, 24 bucks, what do you expect. I am also finding bad descriptions on Facebook market place for pocket watches either the seller doesn't know that the "watch is in great working perfect order / nothing wrong with it" and they show a pic of the back open and lol I can see a missing case screw, I'm like yeah okay I'm sure they must think the movement is supposed to just move around in the case, like that's how it was back then. Wrong years, wrong materials, or they want super expensive prices, saw a pocket watch one of the Dollar watches seller want a thousand bucks for it and the header was very old vintage watch, so I'm beginning to call the market place the funnies page. Lol anyway thanks for showing us this beauty, Pete and a thumbs from me! I'd like to know how this holds up in 6 months to a year. The scratches add to the character and charm of it, lol.
I thought the scratches were merely a cheap attempt at design.
The expanded date window is there so you can still tell what day it is when one (or both) of the hands are at the 3 o'clock position, most only show 3 numbers though.
