You can tell by this performance that this was one of their first Fanmail performances... Because when they used to break out with that "dance too much booty in the pants" they would cut loose! They were a little timid here. SN: I'm wondering if T-Boz was hardly dancing because of the pregnancy??

Well, hello! Awards shows are strictly political. TLC have also LOST some of the Grammy Awards they should've won. "Unpretty" wiped the floor with the other _Song of the Year_ nominees that year but Tionne and Dallas weren't awarded. That's the way the business works. Mary's album is the only album in the Best R&B album category that deserved the Grammy if TLC hadn't won. FanMail was a better album than the other 3 nominees.

It's actually Alvin Speights. He, along with Leslie Brathwaite and Carton Lynn, engineered the _FanMail_ album.
