I am so so sorry Dallas, I always loved seeing you and your family at the Ididaride tours in Seward. You all are the most amazing people. God bless you and I pray you are able to recover from this horrific loss in time.
Im So Sorry. ❤😢
So sorry for your loss and the trauma you all endured! Thoughts and prayers!!
This is heart wrenching. It is hard to lose your pet, whom is family. It must be so difficult to lose the dogs you work side by side with. Then to see them suffering in agony and trauma, must be absolutely devastating.
Sending prayers and condolences.
People who operate a sled while drunk should lose their licenses and face the same consequences as a drunk driver!
Snow dust can be blinding, but no one should EVER drive beyond their eyesight!!
I’m so sorry Dallas. I don’t have any words. I was crying listening to this- it shouldn’t happen

Dallas Seavey loss a few dogs and after WON the 2024 Iditarod.. Legend 🏆
What a horrible incident! As a mountain rider, we very rarely come in contact with dog teams. Plus we're riding long, deep lug tracks, and lower gearing, for power in deep snow, so we aren't really ripping on groomed trails. The groomed trail, is more like what we tolerate, to get up into the backcountry good stuff! The flat land, corner banging, lake racing short tracks, just aren't really that fun!
