The Hunter blindside is classic, as is the urchin moment. John was not only a non-stereotypical gay guy in the early 00s, to date he js the only one to successfully take out Boston Rob. I love Kathy and V is a criminally underrated winner
When this season was first airing me and 3 other friends would gather at someone's house, order in pizza, crack open wine then after the show we'd go out clubbing. We would have sporadic 5th or 6th persons drop in for the occasional episode but us core 4 gathered for every episode. Then when season 5 started, word got around that our Survivor viewing parties were a fun pre-load thing to do before hitting the clubs so when that season aired we had like 20+ people over every week. Everyone would be shouting at the tv, getting buzzed etc. We all got so into it. It was amazing! I have very fond memories of seasons 4 & 5 because of this. Kathy was my favourite player in S4 and Shii-Ann in S5.
Have been loving these retrospectives! I’m actually excited to hear you talk about Thailand next week, despite the fact that it’s far and away my least favorite season
Took me a bit longer to rewatch Marquesas but here we go: Marquesas is a very important season for Survivor. For the first time, the Majority alliance at the Merge got overthrown, and the Winner came from a 7-3 minority for their original tribe. The Hunter and John Blindsides are iconic moves, and you got the introduction of Boston Rob as well as Kathy. Sean Rector should’ve returned by now. The rock draw taking Paschal out is also iconic too. Overall I think this is behind Borneo but above Africa and Australian Outback for me. 1. Borneo 2. Marquesas 3. Africa 4. Australian Outback Vecepia as a Winner played under the radar while also being super social and ruthless at the same time. She won the Final 4 challenge because of her Social game and then cut Kathy loose to win. I think I’ll probably place her above Ethan, but below Hatch and Tina. 1. Tina 2. Richard Hatch 3. Vecepia 4. Ethan
This is a season with conversations so ahead of it's time and the 1st POC winner and the 1st same sex group of finalists and they are women. This season also could be the birth of modern survivor and it has great gameplay and cast I would rank it 15th.
For some reason i hated this season. Maybe because i watched Thailand, and i loved it and then i watched Marquesas and it didn't feel the same. But, now i really like it.
Season 4 had Two of the least deserving and most forgetable final two. They pretty much rode on the back of others. The way they did Sean and Kathy was dirty. Poor pascal sacrificed himself to help advance Neleh.
I was 12 when this aired. Sarah was my first dream with, uhh... nocturnal. Because you all want to know that. After 20 years and experience have passed I'm now pretty sure she's got a lazy hot girl approach in the buduoir.
What is your thoughts on Survivor Marquesas? Underrated and full of game changing moments, or is it simply too forgettable?

🔥
That sounds great, I wish I could've lived that 🥹
Vecepia is highly underrated and it is a shame her underdog story took a back seat by the edit.
I hope that in the future there is gone be a old school vs new school season and that she would defenatly get on
I don't think she would play again, she received alot of vicious backlash after her win.
She got no air time in the reunion 😢 glad she won

Next week its the ice man show then
Thanks for all your hard work! I appreciate it that I get to enjoy these on the fly!!!
Exactly why I make these vids!! Thanks so much!!

Tina literally is only on that list because Colby was a complete fool in the finale with answering questions.
Bro Ethan is my favorite winner he’s so nice
@@Connor8609 Not to mention Kucha’s misfortune of losing a member to a freak accident.
everytime i finish a video i come to the commentaries to see yours lmao
ranking for me for the seasons i love
1. Australian Outback
2. Borneo
3. Africa
4. Marquesas ( haven’t watched yet )
This season is very underrated but it did give Survivor the first underdog.
Zoe telling Tammy that she never liked her is hilarious......
and still the best winner reaction, even after 41 more seasons have played out.
It's weird seeing Paschal play this game knowing he was a very corrupt judge.
Didn’t he just have an affair?
Vecepia ❤️

Didn’t something happen to Pascall after the rock draw at jury that would have been much worse had he been at camp away from help?
Most likely he would've been medevaced bwcause of the dehydration, but I dunno
They should use this location again. Survivor has been almost 10 years in Fiji.
Jeff actually hates the marquesas. So that will never happen.
That will never happen cos the nono bugs there were ruthless and bit everyone to shreds. Both and crew hated the location because of that
I loved this season and v win was surprised that it’s underrated
Every single time i hear survivor the first person i think of is boston rob. Second is johnny fairplay. I miss survivor
Kathy should have won that
Kathy was so strategic it’s insane

Lol if you get stung by a jellyfish do not pee on your hand 🤦♂️🤦♂️
It’s pronounced Zo-ee.
It's a game of strategy and deceit.
