Joel Gallagher - Some Might Say & Songbird

listen, I cant stand the brit pop as much as the next person, but I've always had a soft spot for the underdog, in this case it's one of my good pals from the late 90s, Joel Gallagher, aka the forgotten cousin, aka the 7th weasley. I was returning from stoke on trent after a weekend of PR and eating lots of pineapple and cheese on little toothpicks, I kept the toothpicks as I fancied relaxing with some 7up and fashioning a statue of myself for my desk, but after the car journey back they fell out of my pocket and stuck into my car seat, after this my car was a trap for morning mike pre coffee, and just smelt fucking weird.
Anyway the Monday after this, all the talk was about the Oasis, I didn't have anytime for it, I like the drink don't get me wrong, as long as it's not the yellow one, i actually don't like that flavour as much as I don't like Oasis, the band. I've licked plenty of batteries in my time and, let me tell you, it tastes the same. Joel Gallagher was never invited to be part of the Oasis, struck to the side, banished to the nothern curb, Burnage's working class nomadic R kid. 'I just want to un-pack the fat mike' is what he'd always say, never really understood what he meant back then I would just usually just hit my thigh and look him dead in the eyes until things felt awkward. But now all these years later I know what Joel meant, and un beknows to myself, I had been 'un-packing the fat' my whole career, real music butchery, saving the cuts and re-selling, un-packing the fat of the sound, and simply gnawing on the gristle like a wild hog, whilst sweating, sweating is important in music.
Joel recently got in touch after his plan to assassinate Noel and Liam fell apart due to this 'pandemic' that everyone keeps telling me about? Anyway it was his Christmas present to his brothers while back but never delivered, two covers of the Oasis songs, 'Some might say' and 'Songbird', he would only ever listen to the Oasis songs that started with S, I don't know what that means but then again i don't have siblings so you know, say not much more, if you think you know what I think mean.
