It's glued on. You just have to break it off, remove all the glue and glue the new one back on. If you didn't get a new one, I'd just use a little electrical tape along with some transparent packaging tape for the display. Or, just get creative. Where there's a will there's a way.
If you're talking about the throttle and it broke, you can reach out to the manufacturer or the seller and they can send you a free replacement(through my experience)

Where did u order the part from I did on Amazon threw the scooters company but the wire is not the same but everything else is

How do you get the control panel off…..it’s already removed at the start of the video?
Came here to ask the same question. I was watching video for a different brand (which looks very similar to AOVOPRO) and it was basically glued.

You need a small phillips head and a set of hex wrenches.
