You should try the roundbale fork. Instead of the Bell grab. the one I prefer is branded quickie... I think they're much easier to use and you can stack a trailer very tightly. You don't have to leave a gap to open the grabber.
A nice video again. I made hay bales from all three grass fields and rolled them. After rolling, it shows the last stage of fertilising. At october harvest, I am making silage from grass at silage pit next to the barn. It is going well, I joined your dc but I didn't download the AD network yet. At office, DC was workung fine but at home, there was a connection problem. I hope I do it today :)
That 50% fert state comes from doing the first cut. So all you should have to do from this point onwards is just one additional fertilisation each time. Not sure if there is 3 or 4 growth stages for the meadows on Calmsden - it's four on Erlengrat but only three for seeded grass. When I did a lime test on Erlengrat - it allowed me to apply the lime after the first cut, but it had no effect on actual yield improvement!! In the long run - seeded/field grass should give you the better yield once you've drilled it! Great video again 👍
@@Scroft You may only need a grass roller to give it that second stage of fertilizer if what I have seen from other youtubers works here. That may be cheaper in the long run instead of having to keep buying fertilizer after every cut.
Thank you so much for the auto drive set up and thanks again for showing us how to do that you a top fella and I’ll loving your content as I’ve just got into the game your guides are amazing to
I recently discovered your series Scroft and I can't tell you how grateful I am for the autodrive config and showing us how to configure it. Absolutely love it. The montages are amazing too, great work dude thanks.
Are you sure you saw an improvement to yield with Lime? My tests lime nor plowing change the yield on grass harvests. Even the game files suggest they do nothing (growthRequiresLime="false", lowSoilDensityRequired="false" increasesSoilDensity="false" consumesLime="false"). That is in map xml's though so it's possible a map maker changed them but it seems unlikely when they don't change anything else usually.
@@rappram theres no improovment on meadow grass but with seeded its like other crops further more 70% bonus on meadow gives u same yield like 100% on seeded grass but only 3 cuts/year opposite to 4 with seeded grass.
@@neskodevic5586 Grass isn't just like other crops (which is why I did testing). My tests were done mostly on seeded grass. I didn't get any difference with plow nor lime state (which can't be put on meadow grass anyway as that's not a field). There's also no difference in amount of cuts per year. Cutting 4 times with seasons enabled is possible on either, but if you wait another growth stage (which is easier to see in meadow grass because of flowers) you'll get 50% more per cut leaving you with the equivalent of 4.5 cuts of the first harvest stage over the year.
Thanks for the auto drive will get it tonight can I ask where you get the extra textures for this map ? Great content I am starting to watch this episode from the beginning
Great video, very helpful. I have never used Autoroute before as I was a bit of a "must stay loyal to Courseplay" type bloke. You have convinced me to give it a look. I joined your discord too as I wanted to use your autodrive routes, is it still alvailable as I cant find it?
Mmmm... alright spreading lime on a freshly plowed/ploughed field. Wouldn't putting lime on a freshly cut grass field just burn it all up? Chemically of course.
Enjoying this playthrough Scroft! Where can one download the high res texture pack? I thought I saw a post on Oxygendavid's Facebook page a while back with a link to the textures but can't seem to find anything now.
I tried to buy field 4 myself and no your not crazy, there is no direct entrance.. This really needs to be fixed, otherwise you have to cut through 3 other fields to get to it.. Silly.
For the algorithm. Likes, comments, shares, and subscriptions help your content creators more than you realize. Keep it up Scroft!

Loving this series. Thanks Scroft, Always glad to see your vids pop up in my feed.
Thanks for the continued support 👍
Check the 'woods' behind the stables - there is a good surprise there...good video - enjoying the series!

Any time!

Thanks for the sub! and welcome to the server 👍
Brilliant job making this all available!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching
You are most definitely an Autodrive hero. You go above and beyond for your viewers.
Only wish I had FS22, however I'm still playing FS19.
Thanks Derek. Hopefully you're playing it soon 👍
Great video! :)
Nice one Jesse

Finally had a little bit of time to begin catching up, still can't get over how good this map looks.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
You can lime a grass pasture w/o plowing if you mulch it after cut/harvest
Load the bales at an angle to the trailer you can then push them up tight to the previous ones 👍🏻
Nice one Adam, I'll give it a go 👍
the bales do not turn in to silage straight away they need to ferment first. or its just grass
I mowed the sheep, pigs, horses and cows, then deleted the field stys and animal trigger in the pig field and turned that into my second grass field.
U can put lime in grass field and it improoves yield, but u must do it in harvested state - after mowing. And btw I like montage parts. Art work realy

Wait...please tell me how you got the old weathered bales out from under the shed where you put your straw bales?
Hi Alan, you can go into the build mode amd demolish them away 👍
@Scroft thanks man! Didn't know you could do that til now!

Thanks. I've just created a new channel in my discord called Calmsden Autodrive download. It's in there
I’m doing start from scratch with just the cow farm and old jd tractors

What GPS mod are you using? I'm trying out Autodrive and Courseplay, but you've peaked my curiosity and I would like to try the GPS you have. Thanks!
Hi, @scroft is the download for the auto drive not avaible anymore?
