Purple & Brown is a Stop motion animation show I created and made with Aardman animations for Nickelodeon. Thanks to the amazing and talented crew, credited at the end of the film.
All of these Purple and Brown are so great, but this extended episode may be the best, and that’s really saying something. My favorite moment is when they clink their helmets together like they're coctail glasses. Genius!
I never saw this one growing up and I loved these shorts! Honestly seeing character development in this series and actual words spoken has enlightened me. Amazing work to you all!

The clay work is obviously awesome, but the sound work is equally impressive to me. Especially the exchange between them inside and outside the ship. When Brown yell, "PURPLE!" I completely lost it. Huge bravo to Webber and the team

how did you do the space helmets? I can only imagine they were put on in post but they look so real!
real glass, made by an amazing glass blower, the animators had to remove and clean each frame, they reflected the entire studio :)
