Hello hello!
I wanted to show you guys the process I go through whenever I do choose to do lineart on Procreate! It is a bit different compared to when I worked in Ibispaint and in Paint Tool SAI/CSP! what stabilisation settings do you use?
16:24 there’s an option somewhere in the settings that enables such a thing, basically it will set it so that you hold down the button in the middle of the opacity and brush size and then hover over a line and it will take you to its layer!

Omg... With the "reference layer" you just change my life- I thought you just can't do it on procreate and I coloured always all by myself because the selection was so bad .----.

Can you explain to me what she did with the reference layer because I didn't get it 😅 I'm a total beginner in procreate
@@gumifox she set the lineart layer to reference (hold down on the layer) and color dropped her colors on a separate layer below it, i will add that this doesn't work as well with messier or softer lineart, it works so well on her's because her lineart is super clean, just fyi :)

I have used paint tool sai for years, and Im always impressed how the lineart is better in procreate, every makes it looks so easy and faster than in SAI

Hi there! Just found your channel and I'm loving it.
In ~ 19:19 I believe there's an easier fix for this:
swipe 3 fingers down > copy all > swipe 3 fingers down again > paste.
Or you can click the gear > add > copy canvas and then paste.
That should copy whatever is visible on your canvas and place it on a new layer without running the risk of losing all your previous layers in case procreate crashes (it has happened to me).

the reference tip was so helpful 😭 I stopped using prorate despite how much i liked it simply because i hated having to color EVERYTHING

Thank you so much for sharing your process. I love to do art especially anime and manga inspired. I am visually impaired so watching a lot of creators who either time lapse the process, don’t voiceover over it, or simply move around the canvas very fast is usually pretty hard for me. I Loved carefully learning from your video. It’s also some thing In love to have in the background as I’m drawing

I have so much to learn with procreate. I’m a traditional artist and blending is so much easier on paper but the cool thing with digital art is that you can add so many cool affects. I’m completely lost with procreate, I don’t have a clue where to start with blending and coloring. I’ve looked at so many tutorials and they all have different methods and tbh I don’t know which one is best. Anyways I love your art it’s amazing

That was nice watching your entire process - thanks a lot for showing! The way you handle your line art with such a minimum of sketch lines is amazing - my initial sketch and guidelines are way more comprehensive because I need it, and I've dialed it down a lot since I began drawing... to get where you're at, I'll need to draw a lot more and hope I can be as talented as you. Keep up the good work :D

Im so surprised that you did that in a normal iPad! i thought that you can only achieve that in Ipad Pro or Air. You make me take the decision to buy this one! hey also you were talking about how it's clunky to jump to each layer. if you look at gestures you can point to something & go to that layer automatically. makes it faster to find specific layers
