RE7 in VR is hard to explain. I was wandering back to a captain's quarters on a ship for the 3rd time, but this time I had the key, so I was eager to get what was locked up in there. Passing through the bridge, I was looking around, and a crawling mold creature silently crept out from around a console in front of me. I turned and saw it sitting there just a few feet from me, getting ready to pounce. I felt myself in the expanse of the open space of the bridge, with nothing to duck behind. My gun wasn't loaded. I felt REALLY vulnerable. The game is SO well done for VR.

This is why I love PSVR Without Parole. Fantastic job fellas and Bryan, masterful job on the edit. I appreciate all of your guys hard work. Can’t get enough. Meow! Swipe..
Shadow Legend was the biggest surprise for PSVR for me this year. It's SO good. Why can't more VR games be like that, that give you a good slow pace, a traditional adventure, but environments so dense with MEANINGFUL ways to interact with the environment, and appreciate the details in all the nooks and crannies that make the adventure intimate? The combat was also terrific yet not overdone -- probably one of my top 10 VR games. :)
Once again, great list. Pretty happy that Super Hot dropped down a bit. Not that it's bad, it is just limited compared to some of these other great games. Only issue - Borderlands 2 should, in my opinion, be a 8-10.
@@crazy10bears I agree - when you play the game on the easiest difficulty (which the game defaults too). Play it through once or twice, and the game gets significantly harder and better, meaning you have to know exactly how to play your specific character build to avoid death. I don't necessarily love the fact that you have to play through the game to unlock the harder difficulties, but leveling the same character all the way up feels pretty good, and the hardest difficulty is probably the best 20+ hours which can be found on PSVR for 1st person shooters.

Throwback to that time i was playing re7 in vr and a molded approached me and swung so I tried to dodge under but long story short I headbutted my dresser
I can speak for firewall and Astro bot, both are safe bets, I wouldn't get the aim controller unless your a gun nut of have a handful and I mean a handful of PSvr shooter games as the thing is £60 or me in the UK.
I absolutely loved RE7 and Skyrim in VR. If they'd reissue one of the Assassin's Creed titles (especially Black Flag or Odyssey) in VR I'd be really stoked.
I'm surprised Everyone's Golf VR didn't make the top 25. The only two things they didn't do is add updates and a multi player but overall it's a fun golfing experience.
It's great but yeah the no AI/SP mode, Multiplayer, or updates are the only thing keeping it off this list. But I agree what's there is fantastic, hope we see more
I need some advice im thinking about getting a vr headset for Christmas but me and my dad are wondering if its worth it bc its so expensive and I only have a few games I like but they're all SO good from the videos I've seen
Great game. If The Exorcist didn’t have a game breaking bug for a good percentage of PSVR gamers, I’d recommend it far more often. But for some people Chapter 3 can’t be completed.
@@WithoutParole I didn't experience the bug in the Excorsist. Also, I am one of the ones who got to experience RE7 for the first time in VR. Both extremely scary experiences. But with the Excorsist. They used visuals and sound in a way that made the experience even scarier. I am not going to spoiler anything with the Excorsist other than to say ... when you hear a whisper behind you saying, "I am here". I am still wishing I didn't turn around. The game was jump scares. But done right. However ... it was a bit short. So RE7 scores more points in the content category. And I give the best jump scare award to ... RE7. Again, no spoilers other than to say it involved walking up a short flight of stairs
Oh man, no love for Ghost Giant? :O (I haven't played that yet) I found Blood & Truth a bit tougher to enjoy after Mortal Blitz - which I enjoyed getting EVERY trophy (almost never do that). The gameplay in Mortal Blitz just seems WAY more precise and rewards skill as well as instinct, and has a perfect arcade-y experience. Blood & Truth can bug me a bit as it feels like stealth is finicky and floats a lot more on VR novelty (after playing some 30 light gun shooters on PSVR). Still, it has enough awesome moments that it's a can't-miss game. And man I wanted to love Immortal Legacy but just couldn't manage it. The whole thing just feels like a mess with a lot of disparate ideas - things just don't come together in any kind of sensible, self-aware way as much as the different pieces were kind of interesting. I couldn't believe that even the 3DRudder couldn't save the controls for some reason, as THIS game doesn't allow you to recalibrate it like others do. The tension was actually kind of solid, though. I need a Pro patch for "No Man's Sky." I think all the pop-in spoils it for me. Otherwise, Dirt Rally is awesome and so is the VR for GTSport!!! Pleasantly surprised.
Ghost Giant. Such an awesome game and the way it hits home makes it a game I should be rallying for during every Top 20 debate. We've included it before but (like Statik) you might see it return someday! :D
That game makes me sweat and sick for some reason its the only game to do that to me even when i turn motion sickness to 100% . After about 30-40mins i fell sick
I’m surprised no Audica on the list. Its Not better than beat saber but still thought it deserved a place on top 25. May have to revisit doom vf4, the controls are very clunky though
Can a list be made of just exploratory/open-world type stuff? Sometimes I just love putting the headset on and just 'being' in, or exploring the worlds -- no shooting, no racing, or anything else. Is there anything like that for PSVR? I wish there was more stuff like that.
I thought that until I played Half Life: Alyx. That game is even more scary and intense and the interaction is incredible if you have full room scale. I know it's a different platform but I saw your comment I thought add this. I have both PSVR and an oculus rift. PSVR is limited due to the horrible tracking and move controllers. Trust me room scale adds a whole another dimension and proper move controllers like on the rift means better interaction, those ancient move controllers are just terrible for PSVR. Plus screen door is better on the oculus if you play through a 2080. Maybe you should check it out. You can get an oculus cheap now.
Unfortunately PSVR is not the best way to play Beat Saber cos you’re very limited in terms of songs while other headsets owners have access to unlimited number of free songs to play and have the ability even to play their own favorites songs . But for the rest I totally agree with you . Playstation still have the best VR Exclusives to date . Can’t wait to see the next generation of psvr .
Great list, but I'm surprised you left off Everybody's Golf. I'm not a sports game guy at all, but for how accurate the game play is, its a great game. Would be a lot better if they added more courses though.
Sometimes Everybody's Golf VR makes the list, sometimes it doesn't. A few more courses and a multiplayer mode would skyrocket it to around #10 or so for me. :D
@@WithoutParole multiplayer moe would be great if they could patch in. To be able to play a course or two with a friend online or tacke random strangers would been so much fun. its like the pinball VR. It's so well made with the pinball tables and the way it play and feel in VR but that they can't allow us to play online with others, like you can in the 2d release of those games, is just annoying.
I respect the subjective aspect of a top games list, but in this particular case of VR games (on which the "experience" factor is so important), I think you should have included Eve: Valkyrie.
Eve Valkyrie is really cool, I just wish they focused more on single player. The sp is so broken up instead of being all in one campaign, and the online is dead(bots only).
@@PSVRUNDERGROUND So sad to hear about dead multiplayer. I just got it brand new for $5. I guess it's worth getting at that price. Anything related to vr and space ships is welcome.
I totally agree resident evil 7 is #1 I couldn’t stop playing it even after I beat it VR truly made you feel like you were there favorite part was the mom fight and I know everybody was like screw you lucas for making us go down stairs with the lights turned off
For a long time RE7 was best PS VR game for me. It has really nice graphics, gameplay and immersion, dlc's looks great too. But now, Borderlands 2 VR with the Aim Controller is the best gaming experience for me. It looks very smooth (compared in example to No Mans Sky), great drawing distance, and give a great immersive, especially with this additional aim controller. And I didn't play any Borderlands before, so this may be the reason, why i fell in love in this game. I higly reccomended :)
better but I am biased because I can’t play scary games, I had to take off the headset during the art scene, resident evil would be a fucking nightmare 😂

Throwback to that time i was playing re7 in vr and a molded approached me and swung so I tried to dodge under but long story short I headbutted my dresser
Lol. Hope you’re ok
@@PSVRUNDERGROUND I was, but I was more worried about the headset. Note, it can take a headbutt but not a chair falling on it
I believe as the vr tech improves as well as the games more people will get into it. Young and old. They should make a "Sims" vr game.
Why is there such a shortage of driving/flying games on vr?
Btw, Raw Data still my favorite psvr
It would be pretty epic to see vtol VR on ps4
Thanks for doing this, I just finally got my VR so now I need some games..
Thx bro I’m late for the psvr I’m getting it on October 23 my b-day I needed a list of games to get ready
Spoiled af I play with a spring
I posted this comment using McDonald's wifi and borrowed a tablet
@Napalm in the morning Don’t care if I get wooshed but you that was definitely a lie, who tf would borrow a tablet to comment on a f###ing youtube vid
Blood and truth is my favourite game, also if you like action/horror the walking dead saints and sinners is a good game
I can speak for firewall and Astro bot, both are safe bets, I wouldn't get the aim controller unless your a gun nut of have a handful and I mean a handful of PSvr shooter games as the thing is £60 or me in the UK.
My top 10
1. To the top
2. Knockout league
3. Sprint vector
4. Audica
5. Sairento
6. Creed
7.
Everybody’s Golf VR
8. Dirt Rally VR
9. Trackmania Turbo VR
10. Tetris Effect
Love to the top, sprint vector, and sairento.
I absolutely loved RE7 and Skyrim in VR. If they'd reissue one of the Assassin's Creed titles (especially Black Flag or Odyssey) in VR I'd be really stoked.
Starting RE7 for the first time tonight. I get scared in flat screen games, can’t imagine how loud I’ll be screaming in VR! Wish me luck!
Good on you, and good luck!
Great list, I‘d see golem way higher on the list, but that’s personal preference
I'm surprised Everyone's Golf VR didn't make the top 25. The only two things they didn't do is add updates and a multi player but overall it's a fun golfing experience.
It's great but yeah the no AI/SP mode, Multiplayer, or updates are the only thing keeping it off this list. But I agree what's there is fantastic, hope we see more
I need some advice im thinking about getting a vr headset for Christmas but me and my dad are wondering if its worth it bc its so expensive and I only have a few games I like but they're all SO good from the videos I've seen
this a bloody good top25, but i miss really Arizona Sunshine....so much funny game :)
Superhot can never die
I think the Excorsist game on PSVR was scarier than Resident Evil 7 VR. And yes ... the first time I played RE7 was in VR
Phinneus Prune is the exorcist good ? I was thinking about getting that along with don’t knock twice
PSVR Without Parole ima still have to try it out im a sucker for horror
The exorsist was better than I thought it would be but Res 7 is mainly bugless
Oh man, no love for Ghost Giant? :O (I haven't played that yet)
I found Blood & Truth a bit tougher to enjoy after Mortal Blitz - which I enjoyed getting EVERY trophy (almost never do that).
I really liked Ghost Giant. It was a game that stuck with me long after I finished it. It’s too bad it didn’t make the list.
ghost giant is great.
Amazing video! You're going to have to make another video since the Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners has been released!
Every 3 months! Pretty sure S&S is gonna find a spot in the Top 5 next time around! :D
That game makes me sweat and sick for some reason its the only game to do that to me even when i turn motion sickness to 100% . After about 30-40mins i fell sick
My top 5: 1.Resident Evil 7 2.Astro Bot Rescue Mission 3.Moss 4.Wipeout Omega Collection 5.Statik
I like it
Amazing review!
Stoked re7 is at the top. We need more games like this. Hope one day we get silent hill. Great list as usual 👍
I’m surprised no Audica on the list. Its Not better than beat saber but still thought it deserved a place on top 25. May have to revisit doom vf4, the controls are very clunky though
It's a little strange that all three of us love Audica but never even bring it to the table during our Top 20 debates. Great game though!
Great list my friend !! ;)
I only agree with this ranking!!!! Firewall, astrobot aaaaand RESIDENT EVIL 7 best vr games!!!!!
I am a real pilot and while not a sim, ace combat feels pretty real in the cockpit - Birdman Vegan Future
The level of detail in the cockpit is insane!
I’m thinking about getting Beat Saber...but I’m on the fence
Don't be! It's the best vr has to offer! I've never liked rhythm games before in my life but once i tried beat saber, i couldn't stop
YT-CesarB ! You should definitely get it. It does get a little frustrating but it just takes a little practice
well i really want to play but the ps move controllers are sold out everywhere? when do they restock
Ryan buy them on the internet anywhere dummy
YT-CesarB ! It is THE BEST psvr game I’ve played. It is my go to every time I play psvr
Can a list be made of just exploratory/open-world type stuff? Sometimes I just love putting the headset on and just 'being' in, or exploring the worlds -- no shooting, no racing, or anything else. Is there anything like that for PSVR? I wish there was more stuff like that.
Make sure you play Separation!
Some i feel could have been on here: Rec Room, espire 1, The Exorcist, and raw data
Want to be Superman in vr, and have the universe as your sandbox? Megaton Rainfall
I bought PS VR just for Resident Evil ☣ 7, and the flat screen never give u such experience like on VR.
Resident Evil 7 ☣ is VR 🤴
I thought that until I played Half Life: Alyx. That game is even more scary and intense and the interaction is incredible if you have full room scale. I know it's a different platform but I saw your comment I thought add this. I have both PSVR and an oculus rift. PSVR is limited due to the horrible tracking and move controllers. Trust me room scale adds a whole another dimension and proper move controllers like on the rift means better interaction, those ancient move controllers are just terrible for PSVR. Plus screen door is better on the oculus if you play through a 2080. Maybe you should check it out. You can get an oculus cheap now.
@@Vor_Tex_Sun Right now I only own PS VR soo u are probably right, but never the less this channel is about PS VR system.
Thank you very much I will try farpoint and Wipeout, and by the way I loved raw data though it was missing in this top.
Great list!
RE7 VR is the best gaming experience I've ever had in all of gaming. Hands down! 🙌
Paranormal activity on vr takes the cake for more scary. Biohazard has a place in my heart though
Kinda surprised Immortal Legacy is not in there, nor is BoxVR, but great list!
Aww man, no Mervils again. You will make it someday bud
After the Pinball FX2 VR scandal from the last Top 20 Debate i figured I should lay low for a while. :D
Great list.
You done Fu@$ the list up.
We did more than fu@$ it up. We dragged it through the street and beat it senseless. :D
This list is so good 👍🏻
I respect the subjective aspect of a top games list, but in this particular case of VR games (on which the "experience" factor is so important), I think you should have included Eve: Valkyrie.
I totally agree resident evil 7 is #1 I couldn’t stop playing it even after I beat it VR truly made you feel like you were there favorite part was the mom fight and I know everybody was like screw you lucas for making us go down stairs with the lights turned off
Now you just need to add Walming Dead Saints and Sinners to the next list.
Oh it will be, maybe some more games by then as well
For a long time RE7 was best PS VR game for me. I higly reccomended :)
really appreciate you takin the time for vr enthusiasts but blood and truth at #6????
Okay help me out on this one Cam - do you think Blood & Truth is better or worse than a 6? I can't tell from your comment! :D
better but I am biased because I can’t play scary games, I had to take off the headset during the art scene, resident evil would be a fucking nightmare 😂
Having a blast with Crisis Vrigade, for $9 i think it's the best bang for buck game I've ever bought
How dare the guys who disliked this masterpiece?!
