While Michael and Janet both released many radio-worthy songs, Janet's club action was superior. Michael sold more albums, but Janet's artistic quality was more consistent.
Just because Michael didn’t do ways Janet did doesn’t mean he doesn’t have artistic quality. They both hvw spoke on topics and themes the others haven’t. Janet sung about things Michael hasn’t and Michael has sung about things and topics Janet hasn’t. Sure her albums flowed better but Michaels music is definitely more timeless and less dated out of the two. Just because Michael didn’t make sex songs 24/7 doesn’t mean he lacked artistic quality.

But let’s put it like this take away stage lights, take away technical routines, take away choreography and it’s just you, your microphone and spontaneity. Janet manages to stay relevant into the social media era and still hold supreme for many artists today as the blueprint. She's definitely one of a kind and trend setter
