Because the public is controlled by the media. People are puppets. After the incident this older white man made some comment when I was talking about Janet. He said, "Oh the one that can't keep her clothes on!" He said it with such disdain and I was stumped at this. Looking back I bet this man himself has done a bunch of scandalous stuff in his life so he really, like most, have no room to say anything about anyone. I continue to follow her career and support her music regardless of what people say or think about her. I blast my music in my car and if anyone looks my way I find myself thinking, 'look at all this good music you've missed out on because you allow someone else to control your thought process'.
