Discover one of the most significant moments in the community life of the nuns of Sant Pere de les Puel·les in late medieval Barcelona!
The short film "DYING IN COMMUNITY. From the death to the blessing of the abbesses of Sant Pere de les Puel·les in the late Middle Ages" recreates the gestures in the space of the most significant moments that took place in this monastery, from from the time of the death of an abbess until the blessing of her successor, including the election and the taking of possession.
A proposal for dissemination from research.
It is a production of the Monastic Landscapes Research Project of the University of Barcelona which was carried out in 2022 under the direction and coordination of the @ACUBmbc.
