Lol I mean, fuck that guy and his big ego, but that logic is very skewed. If someone drinks and drives with their wife, they therefore do not love their wife lol. Like I get it, they're putting them in danger so you think that means they dont actually love them, but that's just a way too simplistic view of how relationships and love works.

I am an officer and there was a time when I stopped a reported erratic driver. When I made contacts with the individual I saw it was the fire chief for my town. Luckily for me the chief was a stand up man and told me he made a bad choice and would do whatever was needed. Had zero issues at all and even after his arrest ordeal he found me and thanked me for being professional and not attempting to handle things differently. I will remember that forever. Even people with integrity make bad choices it’s all about how you handle it. That encounter could have turned ugly. It is a very difficult position to be in but at the end of the day it is just another person. Can’t handle things in a different manner because of who it is. When you say shame on them for second guessing, what I saw and was very clear from their discussion, is that they were being extra careful and wanted to do everything by the book given who they are dealing with to avoid having it backfire, i.e. someone shoots a hole in their actions when the situation is scrutinized which they knew it will. They did joke about getting fired, but this only show that despite being aware of the risk, they still took him in. You'll be happy to know, the first one, Mayor Tom Henry is still serving as Mayor of Ft. Wayne and is seeking his 5th term. Had that been you or I, we'd still be serving time in jail and probably would have gotten a larger fine than $25. Makes you wonder if we also successful in getting all those cops fired.

      Open Borders?
      Get a clue.

This first part of the video is sickening. The cops literally standing their debating to arrest the mayor because “they don’t want to lose their job” so I should run for office then right? Because it puts me above the law? I can drink and drive if I’m the mayor? Absolutely sick.

RETALIATION. They find some minor thing that has nothing to do with the arrest that the officer might have done in the past or didn’t even do , and fire them for that reason because technically they aren’t fired for arresting the mayor . They are fired for something else even though everyone knows why they were fired
