Used to hold guild wars on this station on Flurry server. Every bit of this game bleeds atmosphere for classic Star Wars. The game was made by people who were absolute lovers of the IP. You felt like you were truly in the galaxy, with limitations of course. Absolutely no other community like it. Having played the game from 06-2011, it truly felt like losing a part of me when the game was finally shut down. Ironically the entire Star Wars IP pretty much died just shortly after when George sold to Disney. I would give anything to go back to those times
@@craighicksartwork The game still is incredible! As far as the quality of Star Wars these days.... let's not discuss that here on this video comment section lol. Everyone has their own opinions.
I was on Flurry and other servers. I was Mand Jendi and Mandalore. Right now, a lot of us are Playing Pre_CU server on Infinity. There are others too. But, Infinity is where a lot of people are playing Pre-CU. Other CU servers are in development.
Legends servers are Not Full Star Wars Galaxies. They, do Not have all the combat professions that Pre-CU or CU servers have. You might want to try Empire in Flames or SWG Evolve. That has all the professions. Or, has some of the CU mixed with NGE.
Ah. This is the place I got access to the blueprints for the best heavy fighter/bomber engine in the game. Unlocked a repeatable quest where I could get a new blueprint in about 20 minutes of grinding. Selling those blueprints paid for me being able to upgrade all of my ships (I had a LOT of ships) all the way, getting maxed out parts for every single ship... it was a huge advantage for me.
Used to farm the T6 pirates in this system for hours cause they respawned like crazy fast. Id just like listen to podcasts and stuff till my inventory was full of loot lol.
I remember back when this game was live my ship got destroyed and i respawned here but i couldn't leave or repair my ship (unless i was stupid) so i had to start a new character since i just started the game
You can use the ticket terminal to buy a public transport ticket, and then talk to the droid out front to travel. You can also repair any ship in space at a station.
You need either the original CD's or the Steam version. Then you go to SWGLegends.com and download their launcher. That patches it so you can play on their custom servers.

the reason: The character creation system is also tied to a profession called 'Image Designer' which has been merged with the dancer, entertainer, and Musician to create the entertainer class. not only that, but you have 10 races which each have their own customization sliders. so the only way to actually make a 'mod' for the graphics, would actually require a core game level upgrade of the character assets, and new adjustment points for the creator that the profession can utilize. this would just be for the character itself. but then you have the animations, outfits, weapons, and many more things are tied to the character, which would require a dedicated development team in itself to update. this is why there is no mod for it. however, there are things like ILM and reshade, which updates the shaders and texture rendering a bit, but not really enough to call it a graphical upgrade mod.
@@HalfFullReviewsI’ve played on a gaming laptop the graphics hold up 100 percent honestly sure some places feel nicer then others texture wise but overall it’s a pleasure and feels like Star Wars

SWGLegends.com is the private server I play on. It has about 2000 players and has been around for a few years now. Pretty easy to set up. You just need the original game files installed - and then download their launcher.
Let me talk to some people to see if i can get it to happen... I cant say it will be a star wars game, due to LA's requirement that there be only 1 starwars MMORPG at a time. but ill see what i can do.
This is where the spacers used to hangout

Those were the good old days. Before the dark times...
Oh, I was also from Flurry. My original character was: Tor-ren Tek
The game was incredible. But don't be that guy who says Star Wars died after the part you loved went away. Star Wars lives on in every generation.
