The Adventures of Bubbles and Coach Pa - Colorado Trip Day 7: Jean Lunning Trail and Lake Isabelle

This is our new favorite hike of all time anywhere. It ended up being about a 5.5 mile hike starting with the incredible Jean Lunning Trail, walking through a half dozen waterfalls and a stunning bouquet of flowers. After catching up with the main Lake Isabelle trail, we took it up to the lake - crossing over a couple more waterfalls. Views of the glaciers, sunset and lots of mosquitoes highlighted the rest of the trip. We got back to the parking lot well after the sun went down, but what a trip.
I strongly suggest doing this hike if you are in the area. The only real trick to it is getting a reservation to park in the Brainard Lake Rec area and then actually getting a parking spot once there.
