That’s the problem with you Kings fans: you believe that firing a coach is the solution to your problems. You need to start at the head of the snake. No, I’m not talking about De'Aaron Fox; I mean the owner-he's the real issue. It’s not Mike Brown and it’s not the roster. Mike Brown took a team of no-names to the playoffs in his first year. While things aren’t looking great this season, making the playoffs one out of three times isn’t bad. I'm not sure what you Kings fans expect from your team, but as of now, there’s no way you’re getting past the second round in the Western Conference with your current roster anyways!
@@Curby75 The Kings made the playoffs 2 seasons ago because Monte acquired Monk, Sabonis, Huerter. That roster saw success as the #1 offense in history in spite of the "defensive minded" Brown - not because of him, which gets more evident with each following season We missed the playoffs last year and we're on track to not even sniff the play-in this season. The Kings apparently regress every year. So if anyone is to blame for us being SO far away from the 2nd round of the playoffs like this roster SHOULD be able to make, who is it other than Mike Brown? And if they keep Mike Brown, where is the light at the end of the tunnel despite regressing every season? Unless the end goal is simply stability and not to actually win or even improve each season... Vivek is cheap, sure. Monte gets too many guards, sure. We keep losing because we run the same plays over and over again. We shooting 50 threes a game and when we miss. It gives the other team a chance to score on us. Everyone knows we got the worst defense in the NBA. They need to get to the rim. You have fox, sabonis, derozan . Use them, stop shooting three. It only works when we make the threes but once we start missing we end up falling behind...
It just sounds like fans are disgruntled but have no idea what they want. Keegan is underperforming offensively, demar is an awkward fit, huerter was always a shaky player that just plays timid now, and fox, while pretty reliable, has far too many down games and lacks the leadership and accountability of a top guy in the league that he wants to act like. We can point to the holes in the roster but players need to step and hold each other accountable cause the reality is, Kevin huerter and Trey Lyles ain’t getting much more than Kyle kuzma who isn’t pushing the needle in any direction.
Foxy is right to ‘push.’ Demand better from mgmt… if kings trade him, they’ll say he was the issue $$. This is how poor Management operates. You really want Keegan Murray as the ‘face’ of ur franchise, I don’t….i say Bravo Foxy!!! Oh, he should also say if he wants Brown to stay or go.. I vote go…..
Brown is not the problem. This is a player's league; a coach can do so much and be a broken record, but it doesn't matter if they don't perform. It's several different things: roster construction, poor BB IQ and execution on the floor, and being a rudderless ship without a true leader. Fox is extremely talented, but he is NOT a vocal leader, which the Kings desperately need. There are several times players are standing and watching, crashing the lane, instead of staying with their man on the 3pt arc. Fox needs to get into players' faces and hold everyone accountable, including himself, and accept and be the leader of this team. Do you think MJ and the Bulls won only because of talent? No. They won because MJ was an insane competitor and leader who got into players' faces to do their jobs. He was a leader, and Fox or someone needs to hold everyone accountable on the floor. Fox is the head of the snake. Brown is begging him to lead and it is NOT DeAaron's personality. That's the Kings problem.
Fire Mike Brown. Fire Monte McNair. Give Webber the GM job. Should have been his over McNair to begin with. Trade Sabonis. He makes way too much $, is not a good scorer, cant defend to save his life, and isn't a real 5. Keep Fox DeRozan & Monk, improve the rest of the roster!!
Its obvious its either fox or brown I would honestly prefer brown knowing the kings history in coaching changes… kings have had many chances at stars they just drafted bust after bust after bust for 15 straight years
We are stuck with Mike Brown because Sam Amick and the rest of Sac media shills shamed Vivek into extending him. If Vivek wasn't going to go into luxury tax before, why would he do it when he's paying MB $30 million to sit at home? Sac Media helped dig a big hole for the organization with their narrative pushing

The Quick fix is stop Casting 35 to 4O 3 pointers IF you only make 16 you just shot your
Team out of the game
Thank you Sam Amick for shaming Vivek into extending Mike Brown!! Now we are all stuck with MB! Brilliant!!!
If Sacramento Kings lose Mike Brown, they are screwed. It will be a coaching carousel again for the next decade.
Yeah cuz there's so many, much better coaches available 👌

Trade Fox. Team is done.
