This song really ignites my soul. Funny, the first version I heard was the one feat Fabulous (and I listened to that endlessly) but when I stumbled across this one, I love this version massively. Never gets old.
Oh man... the memories. This was the perfect song when you're with that special someone and just driving around for the sake of driving around, late at night, when you've still got school in the morning. Just letting the city lights pass you by because there's no lace you'd rather be.
I was 22 and this was perfect for the time! Things have changed. The music from the 90s was about being in love. I am so sad that the music of today isn't so tasteful.
These days it is very hard to find nor to feel the love that existed in the 90's but with such songs makes me believe that love can be found again in this cold hearted generation
@@irvingdelahoz9390 I’m a Millennial but the older generation always come at Gen-Z. The younger generation that was born in the late ‘90s remembers this track growing up. That was their childhood song.
I was instructed to this song by my brother, we were driving to my grandparents house, it's about a hour to half an hour drive. So I was in the back seat when he pulled out his phone and started playing this song. This is amazing, and I always have looked up to my brother, he's my hero, he inspires me to keep going every day.
1998, I was in South Africa when this amazing track came out, a lady friend of mine who happened to be HIV positive and my neighbor would have this track on repeat all day everyday..I saw this gorgeous woman singing in it and not only did I fall in love with the song but also with the beautiful woman who was singing and her name is Tamia...The lady friend who was my neighbor has since passed away...Wish she was still around for me to thank her for introducing me to this beautiful track and it's gorgeous singer...Grant Hill you stole my woman... I'm 13 and I'd rather listen to this all day than the songs out here today.❤️
Lol you have great taste in music
Oh man... the memories. This was the perfect song when you're with that special someone and just driving around for the sake of driving around, late at night, when you've still got school in the morning. Just letting the city lights pass you by because there's no lace you'd rather be.

Amen.God bless you and your family.
On point ❤❤
That part!!!!
Thats deep
Even though I was born in this generation, I really love old school music. Like it has deeper meanings and I just love the vibe.
You're special like a snowflake
same. underrated to this generation but worth it. these songs are so much better than most of the songs in my generation tbh
Hedva Rayna You're another special snowflake wow

I was 22 and this was perfect for the time! Things have changed. The music from the 90s was about being in love. I am so sad that the music of today isn't so tasteful.
Straight R&B Princess Tamia, I grew up up in the heart of R&B in the 1980’s and beyond. This is one of my favorite genres of Soul Music❤❤❤
I wish modern songs would make this kind of passionate and soulful music
Plenty of modern songs are passionate and soulful cmon now. Just go looking

I'm born and raised East Africa Eritrea this was very famous song back in the day🇺🇸🇪🇷 I still love the song
@@drcrazy45 I love it thank you sis 🇪🇷🇱🇷
If you’re still listening to this song today you have impeccable taste and a heart of gold 🫶🏼
ok darling I did a song that had her on the hooks
People don’t realize what an absolute vibe this song was. My Canadian girl, so beautiful to go with her amazing voice. Grant Hill is a lucky man!
These days it is very hard to find nor to feel the love that existed in the 90's but with such songs makes me believe that love can be found again in this cold hearted generation
Tamia looks like my college girlfriend from Tulsa Oklahoma.
Just heard this song at Walgreens LOL I couldn’t stop singing and had to come home and look it up. My favorite song of all time!!
Funny you say that. Walgreens does play some great jams, over their P.A. Systems.
@@randyh.7782 😂yes they do
Awesome 😂😂
I can't believe you never heard this or at least the Fabolous version, are you Gen Z?
@@irvingdelahoz9390 I’m a Millennial but the older generation always come at Gen-Z. The younger generation that was born in the late ‘90s remembers this track growing up. That was their childhood song.
Who’s still bumping this in 2018😻
:P
Only The Realests !

I was instructed to this song by my brother, we were driving to my grandparents house, it's about a hour to half an hour drive. So I was in the back seat when he pulled out his phone and started playing this song. This is amazing, and I always have looked up to my brother, he's my hero, he inspires me to keep going every day.
No other song triggers such an emotional response to me as this does. Makes you want to hug everyone dear to you
Agree
Yes
This is the best version. No debates...Tamia is a song bird who deserves the recognition, hands down.
Evangela Smith childish gambino live
Agree Tamia all the way. Childish Gambino's rendition is nice.
Oh hell YEAH!!!! I seen her at the House of Blues in DALLAS. WOW!!!! what a night....🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺😍😍😍😍😍
Congratulations bra, you got yourself an incredible lady, they don't make them like her anymore..Tamia," I really like what you've done to me, I'm so into you"...😁
😍😊
