Thanks :) Yeah, I definitely get the icy winter vibe too, but the wings (and desk lights) create some warmth. The wing set across all of its colour schemes seemed to work particularly well during that time of year.
@@JayLS Definitely. The contrast is nice. The clock kind of resonates with a nighttime snowy setting where the glow from the lights absorb into it. I’m probably thinking too much about this 😅
@@AdamBeachDesign Haha, not at all! It's fun to observe and try and figure out what the designers/lighting crew were looking to achieve. The set got a bit of a makeover around September 1997, with a cleaner (possibly brighter?) clock face accentuating the nice glow effect you see. Perhaps that's why they did it.
@@JayLS It's good delving into the different lighting variants from the older sets, one in particular being the darker setting on the wooden set. The marble textures and roseate segment lights look lovely on here. I think it was with this makeover that they added the white dots around the clock border at the 5-second interval points as opposed to some sporadic screws? Much cleaner.
@@AdamBeachDesign Indeed. A change in lighting can transform a set. The wooden era is interesting simply because it was so short-lived. Yes, the dots were added then. I think the sign above the clock was done away with as well. Quite a few tweaks made around that time.
@@AdamBeachDesign Too kind. Not much really. I have some 90s Wheel of Fortune (US style) which has been kicking around incomplete since about June. Not been terribly productive lately. How about you?
@@JayLS well keep making progress on your already-incredible uploads. You have a great fan base eagerly waiting to see what you come up with next. Lack of motivation here therefore not much going in.
@@AdamBeachDesign And the same applies to you and your work. Speaking of your work, some Christmas 2003 episodes have surfaced if you weren't already aware - another variant for your collection! I think 2002 is the only Christmas one eluding us now. ua-cam.com/video/8mcjxGnyGlo/v-deo.html
Thank you for uploading and Happy Valentine's Day.
And thank you for watching Adam, happy Valentine's to you too.
@@JayLS you're welcome
Love this. I like to think of this variant giving off a wintery theme with the icy blue lighting.

Do I need to mention I screamed again 😂 keep it up Jay!
Haha, glad to hear it!
Wish they could've kept that set
Hi Jay. Completely random, but have you thought about doing this set in the January 1996 variant with the freaky clock music?
Was doing that just the other day, as it happens! No idea when it will be finished but it's in the works.
@@JayLS Great minds think alike 😆 Is there anything else in the works? I can't get enough of your work.
