This has just appeared here (to my delight). What can one even say about Jeff? He's one of the best I've ever heard, period. Would have loved to have seen this amazing young man live but I play his music often and now we have all these wonderful gigs available at the touch of a button, magic. Thanks for sharing. RIP Jeff.
Glenn Newmark ......lucky you! Yes, I’ve heard from folks who knew Jeff that he was an extremely humble man. I read Jeff would visit the brother of an apparent cousin and they’d practice their music together in the kitchen. I can’t help but respect and admire such an incredible young man. He didn’t need sight, he *felt* every note.
The cassette this song was released on found it's way into my car one day. Every song was replayed countless times. I still have it. I still put it on and sing it to my wife. I'm no singer. Shhhh she says.....sometimes you have to let him go. So we dance. We miss you Jeff but you left us something immortal.
So glad I found this! I remember waiting for him to appear on Arsenio back then and when I saw it, I didn’t realize he was blind. I cried because I was so impressed and at the same time felt sad that he was blind. I was a kid and I’m an emotional guy to begin with so seeing this was inspirational to me. I was a kid learning guitar and wanted to see how he played this. Always loved this song
🎶The sound of my childhood. 🎶🎵🎶 R.I.P Jiff🙏
We lost a phenomenal talent when we lost Jeff....he is very much missed !
This man is a Canadian legend and a Guitar slayer. Look up SRV and Jeff Healy it is amazing
Love this song ❤
Only 5 comments for this beautiful piece of history. Rest In Peace Jeff. You were truly gifted. Make that 6 comments.
I feel so privileged that I got to see Jeff and the band perform at the Kee to Bala back in the ‘90s.

Linda Jones I was blessed enough not only to see him but to have performed with him in 1987 summer. He was as brilliant in person as you see here.
