Do We Need To Have Let It Be Released?

After the Peter Jackson Beatles Epic Get Back, do we need to have Let It Be released on DVD and Blu Ray? Of course we do. Oops, I said the premiere was in April 1969. It was of course April 1970.

Let it Be is a movie starring Paul McCartney and "others" in which Sir Paul shows us how he didn't break up The Beatles. Until he did by proclaiming he wouldn't record any more with The Beatles. It also features a character named George who missed his chance for infamy by leaving through one door only to mistakenly return through another.

There has become a sick and unhealthy fascination with everything The Beatles corporation dumps out to its adoring sycophants. As the dregs of this monument to everything bad about greed gets issued, it should require a health warning. However, as long as the suckers part with the money and the estates of beneficiaries reap the rewards, then why not milk it for all its worth. Seeing what The Beatles now stand for gives me more respect for the artists who haven't sold out. My only concern is, will it come on a glow in the dark disc? The lyrics to McCartneys "Come & Get it" truly were prophetic.
