    Ha ha! Your facial expression when you seen the price for the Wild Rice. I usually get one scoop of it from whole foods and that cost me less than $2. Also, I know those where the Roma tomatoes they sell at Trader Joe's. I assumed they are the same as the Plum tomatoes Dr. Sebi recommends. And I never knew Target has a super grocer. The prices on those pastas were impressive! Love love Love this presentation. And your hair is so beautiful! I've been rocking your recipes for the past 5 months. My biweekly shopping goes according to them lol. Looking forward to more! #DrSebiLegacy

I now know it is my responsibility to plan and prepare good tasting alkaline electric foods for us. the bell peppers alone are $3 each. Do you guys buy everything organic or just regular produce?

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  7 років тому +7

      We buy a mix of organic & local, it just depends on the availability. We also shop at a variety of farmers and International markets as well as online to get the best deals we can find.

    Great Deals but I couldnt see if all your produce & food were organic doll. (Thats Super Important)
    Plum & Cherry Tomatoes are best.
    Those prices are freakin AMAZING! I live in NYC & although we have Trader Joes those other prices are not happening in New York!
    Id be so happy if they did. I spend a good $250+ a month for just me as a single woman. All the organic fresh fruit, veggies & herbs is what blows me over budget...LOL
    I just added a few organic coconuts to the list which are $5.00 each so GOD HELP ME! LOL
    THANKS 4 SHARING DOLL❤💛💙

      Thanks for sharing Sharron. I purchase a mix of both organic & standard grown and try to obtain seeded items primarily. After all, there are organic seedless watermelons and grapes so at that point you're looking at GMO stuff :-/

    I've eaten both ways just vegan and then alkaline and to me it's cheaper to eat alkaline most times unless there was issues with a particular crop. Living I. The country I haven't had that trouble yet. My oldest daughter actually prefers the healthier food. When I need to cut corners, I nix the pasta. But I saw the homemade pasta so you've kindly provided an alternative to that. I have a serious and somewhat personal question about the spring water that I'd like to send to an email, please? Much appreciateted.

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  8 років тому +3

      Thanks for sharing and for your support. The spring water is a recommendation from Dr. Sebi's nutritional guide and is always a big topic of discussion, either because of the source, the plastic bottles they are in or whether or not it's "alkaline" water. I would encourage choosing an option based on what's most comfortable for your situation.

    made the spelt pizza wasn't tasty enough. I have to do make the herb butter and put some sesame seeds in the crust next time. I made the Brazil nut cheese it's okay for sandwiches, but I didn't like it on the pizza what do you use!

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  8 років тому

      Yep that's perfect, just tailor it to your preference. I use the pizza recipe from Ty's Conscious Kitchen's cookbook as a base and switch it up with what we like. A new favorite is the Margarita Pizza, using the "garlic" style sauce. It has tons of flavor! Here's the video if you missed it: ua-cam.com/video/e3nVEUl_uX0/v-deo.html

    • @LPShare

    Hello, I noticed you didn't buy a lot of organic foods. My question is how do you all feel about organic v non-organic? Thanks

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  7 років тому +1

      +Angela Washington Thanks for watching! 😃 Buying organic is recommended for this lifestyle, and we do purchase a mix of both, depending on the item and the source. I don't feel it's always the final solution though. I've seen organic seedless items. Hmmm, how are those beneficial right? Organic labeling can also be purchased by companies, and the items are sometimes put through radiation. My true feelings is unless we source the proper seeds ourselves and grow our own foods with known fertilizers, we can't know for sure about any of it.

    Nice Video. Was wondering didnt Dr. Sebi advised to eat bio/organic food self cultivated or small business that cultivates 100% organic? I tent not to trust these big grocery shops cause its only a profit business

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  8 років тому +2

      Yes, "organic" is preferred and we do purchase it occasionally. Some of the reasons we don't always buy into the organic hype is that the FDA allows irradiation and fracking water use on organic produce, while some companies can buy the organic labels for foods that are not truly organic. "Organic" is a for profit concept. For these reasons and the ones you may have, I tend not to trust the larger grocery chains also. Until we can secure the proper seeds and get back to growing our own foods we do what we can. Great points!

      +LP Share Is it because of cost? With the failure of mandatory GMO labeling, I am very concerned about buying non-organic foods. Yet I'm realizing with things being organic, it will drive up the cost significantly. Any advice, thoughts or comments? LOVE 😍 your channel btw!

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  8 років тому +1

      It all depends. We actually do buy organic, but we also know that it doesn't always = electric. One reason is because the labeling of 'organic' can actually be purchased. Also, local produce many times is organic without the labeling. Learned this by speaking with those at local farmers markets and co-ops that sell local produce. Another consideration is that there are organic watermelons that do not have seeds in them. Our fruits should have seeds in them to be electric. The consensus for us is to do the best we can with what we have, and tend to our garden, lol!

    • @Ms79SunShine

      +LP Share I appreciate the quick response & had no idea the organic label can be bought! I guess I really shouldn't be surprised. 😑 It also makes a lot of sense about knowing the source of the food from farmers at local markets unless I am able to start my own garden. Thank you for the tips & insight!
      Also, would you considering doing a video on how to pick good fruits & veggies at a local farmers market? Thank you again! Asé 💞

    So do you not buy all organic ingredients? If not, what is the reasoning? Is there a big difference in organic and non organic?

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  5 років тому

      I do sometimes but I don't stress over it for a few reasons. To keep it short answer I'll try to pick one, lol. I prefer non GMO seeded fruits like seeded grapes yet there are plenty of seedless organic varieties out there. They want you to be more concerned over the label of organic that you ignore its molecular structure has been changed. Okay, one more...not everyting beneficial to us comes as organic, so there's that. When you observe the food industry over a series of years you just begin to peep game. 😉

    Something energetically wrong with Target. Last time I went there, I was brutally attacked on the energetic level, astral. Horrible entities. Sensitive people, especially children, cannot handle that and should never go there. I stopped going there myself. Took 2 days to recover fully! Love your channel and love Dr. Sebi and what he has to share. Stupid question coming up, but, is this "diet" for everyone?

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  8 років тому

      Wow, that's interesting. You know, a few days ago we hadn't even made it out of the vehicle at Target and a child was having a SERIOUS melt down coming out of the store..hmmm something to ponder!

    • @LPShare

      I certainly think this lifestyle can benefit everyone and I do know he was able to help people of many nationalities. Dr. Sebi impresses his 'African BioMineral' approach because genetically, we all need different things to thrive and be healthy and we weren't always aware of that fact.

    • @LPShare
      @LPShare  8 років тому +1

      Yes, that's why balance is key when eating to achieve alkalinity within our bodies. It's just that a huge majority of the Western diet is highly acidic and this is how disease manifests. Anything over pH of 7 is good but I'm sure going too high wouldn't be optimal either. Thanks for your comment!

      Hi Hanan, as an option, you can try your local farmers markets for fresh fruits & veggies while starting a garden, as a way to increase your supply of healthier food choices. We also eat fresh fruit, kamut cereal, alkaline blueberry muffins or fruit smoothies for breakfast and/or lunch (from Ty's Conscious Kitchen channel). Do what you can to slowly transition, you got this! If you haven't already, check this out: ua-cam.com/video/Sl6HRHzWnH0/v-deo.html
