Fantastic video Chris, it was really interesting watch you go through the process on your first run through with the craft a brew set up. Looks like a really good set up. Glad to see you back at making videos again too :) Website looks superb as well, I can tell big things are on the way!
I live in CRica... here I make 1) medicinal ferments, ie. Ginger beer w/ juanilama... chamomile, mint, turmeric & combinations thereof... per 5 gallons 5 lbs sugar(any sugar) yields 5% ABV
This makes me curious which microbes metabolize the spicy molecule capsasin, especially since you ended up not getting any spicy flavor in the end product. Awesome video it was a pleasure to watch!
Thanks I've listened to your podcast :-). Had to add you I'm really into learning fermenting....I've fermented my own fertilizer and spread the word lots to get away from other ferts
loved this video. i've been planning on some experimental ferments with our super-strong arugula, inspired by my first-ever FPJ. i'm not sure yet whether it will become a beverage or a sauce/soup base or something else entirely,, but i think you've helped inspire the project along now!
Man that was a lot of fun to watch. So glad you hear you are coming back to Southeast Asia. Hope you make it over here to Thailand soon. Please stay in touch and God bless you bro! :)
Hi Chris. You may have touched on this but I made a soil/IMO2 concoction and raccoons dug up every plant. Nice little holes exactly where I put the soil. Is this why you proceed to IMO 345 or was it a bad move to mix IMO2 extract and soil? Still lovin this stuff!!
Where did you come up with wild yeasts not going beyond 5%? wild cider yeasts normally stop around 7ish but some wild yeasts go way further - even further than your champagne yeast.. It depends totally on the wild yeast strains you get and the amount of sugars they have to chomp on :) Next time try it totally wild and see what you get, experimentation is the key to invention. Oh and I've made a dandelion wine in the past - tasted a bit like iced tea with gin - but hopefully healthier. Cheers
Hey can I ask you about using kombucha in KFN. Can I use my kombucha to substitute vinegars? Can I make a solution from kombucha? I ask because sometimes my kombucha becomes too sour and I have too much.
I was wondering if there was an alternative to Angelica roots for the OHN, i've notice that JADAM refers to Gingko Biloba as a strong source of organic pesticide and so i wonder if this can be used to make OHN.
I love your videos, you do all the fun and awesome things that I'd like to do if I had the space to do so, good thing there's plenty of time to keep trying :)
Chris, can you just apply the "lacto" liquid (from rice) directly to the soil and not have to spray? Also, can I just gather the mycelium in the forest and spread that directly to my garden without having to do the rice in the box method?
The video gets stuck in a 42 minute advertisement. The countdown gets stuck at 2 seconds so you can’t skip the ad. I couldn’t watch your video due to this glitch. Can you fix it ? Thank you.
Glad to see you making more videos. Maybe I missed some, but I started on your KNF videos. Keep doing you! Your videos are fun, informational, and even a bit calming. Thanks for all your effort!
la verdad es hemoso espectacular pero no se olviden tambien hablamos español hay mucha gente pero no entienden ni hablan ingel se olviden de ese publico por favo
What a bs channel, vids are blown out of proportion beyond anything for ad revenue, literally you can make all vids 1 minute but you take hours, so sad

Chris I have a question.... When you say hooch isn't that what we're basically making to feed to our PLANTS or are there similarities or differences
If I ever get the money and KY legalizes, I'm hiring Chris to manage the fields. He knows what's up.
Quick question. What type of yeast did you use?
so how many days till the final product?
Hey can I ask you about using kombucha in KFN. Can I use my kombucha to substitute vinegars? Can I make a solution from kombucha? I ask because sometimes my kombucha becomes too sour and I have too much.
great question, I was just thinking about this myself

pls share your accidentally recipe for banana flower cherry/wine ?
An IPM video would be clutch 🙏
Idea similar to champagne production, whereby you can remove the spent yeast without losing the bubbles.
Great idea.

I did a jalapano kombucha and it turned black, super acidic, super spicy. Never used it on my plants though! Cheers
Hey, how would one make IMO 1 in winter? What temp is the minimum necessary for imo 1?
The solid stuff you used to ferment is that green chilli left over?
yes, jalapeno left overs of FPJ (fermented plant juice)
Not available anymore, advice?

New here, and I'm missing something. What were the solids you added? Jalapeño something, but what? I love the vid!
Im fermenting blue berries and grapes right now.

👍👍👍👍👍👊
Has anyone considered using IMO spray as a personal deodorant? Is there any risk a good IMO could cause a urinary tract infection?
We'll come back Chris
That was a great video, other than the different volume levels of different parts of you speaking and the music.
Thank you for that feedback!!! I forgot to check that
