For the first time, Ailey has commissioned a work that is being created over multiple seasons. In part 2 of this three-part suite, Kyle Abraham continues to explore the impact of incarceration on African-Americans and their families. At part 1’s 2015 premiere, Dance Magazine wrote: “This is something our culture should be looking at…. Kudos to Ailey-and Abraham-for keeping the revelations relevant."
