I totally admire Frida. She is strong and classy all the way. Friendly, sincere, humble, yet rises above all the unhappiness and moves forward. I hope she always remains happy through all the tragedies in her life. She is a wonderful role model for young women the world over and a great talent! What a blessing to see her on screen and video so we can continue to enjoy her amazing singing! What a beautiful voice!
I really think Frida was happiest with her Prince than anyone else. It's sad now that she finds herself getting old by herself. I've always been in love with her! She is still a beautiful lady. God Bless You Frida!

She lives with her English boyfriend Henry Smith. Been with him for a long time now.
After her Prince husband died she become very close friends with Jon Lord of Deep Purple.

Currently she has been living with her beloved partner Henry for over 10 years. He was with her at the ABBA Voyage premiere and one year anniversary. They are cute together. I bet she will never marry again. You know, 3 strikes and your out. Hope she just enjoys life.

The ultimate Cinderellla story: the lonely young girl of great beauty and class who went on to wear the prince's glass slipper.
The lonely child was the result of how her home country, Norway,
rejected her mother, Synni Lyngstad (1926-1947) and baby Frida.
Her mom, Synni Lyngstad, presumed murdered/poisoned, kidney failure Sep 1947.
Her German soldier father, sergeant Alfred Haase reported killed in 1945 after his ship was sunk by the allies, before Frida was born, 15 Nov 1945.
As everyone knows, he was not killed. Frida in 1977, learned he was alive, with family, living in Germany.
Imagine learning as a child the reason you don't have a mom and dad and taken from your birth nation to Sweden all to prevent reprisals because your unwanted in your birth nation. She was a unwanted "German baby".
Even without a mom & dad she was one of the lucky "war babies" as Sweden accepted her. 10-12K "war babies" that did not get out of Norway were treated as outcasts. 3rd class citizens. Limited to access to education, jobs, medical care. Many lead lives of crime. They became further shamed. A horrible life. They were shamed because their mothers had a relationship with a German soldier. They were trapped in a very bad situation.
Frida got out, and turned her entire life, family tree around and has built up multiple generational wealth for her family.
Her seamstress grandmother who raised her in Sweden, loved Frida, but was not affectionate. She was stern and strict. Frida had no siblings or relatives in Sweden. She was left at home alone while her grandmother worked long hours making ends meet.
Her two happy things: visiting her aunt Olivia and her cousins in Norway once every summer and singing in school and church choir.
But she could not move back to Norway, as she was an unwanted "German baby". She thought nobody wanted her. A lonely latchkey kid.
Her teachers recognized Frida had a keen ear and vocal talent. At age 7 Frida decided she was going to be a successful singer and make her own way. At age 13, although underaged, she turned pro - making her own way at age 13.
She grew up fast. A lost childhood. All because her birth nation disowned her mom and baby Frida. Shameful.
A couple of decades ago the Norwegian Government started to right wrongs with the remains "war babies" in Norway. The Norwegian Government has officially apologized for what happened to the "war babies" and their mothers.
Close understanding, is hard to find once, losing him is crushing. We can only hope to reunite one day.

I don't know if they believe in God. All the interviews never mention that. I'd hate to think such talents that God gave them, that they just do it for fame and making people feel good when there is so much more to life, namely spending eternity in heaven and leading others to Christ also. I don't know if Casting Crowns music has made it to the rest of the world, but their song Nobody is a replica of what people need to hear that is all wrapped up in the emptiness of this world without God/Jesus and the holy spirit. I pray all of them read this and use their talents to save souls.

Yes, I think (at 3:23) she looks similar to Queen Silvia of Sweden. As far as I know Frida is even a friend of hers.
