No, the Ever Given's grounding had nothing to do with dredging or channel depth. The entire bridge crew failed, pilot, mate and captain. They all should have been able to see the turn and reacted. The helmsman gets a pass, but as helmsman I have corrected pilots when they were about to have a bad day.
