Pretty good grades. Fun to watch.
Great string of 8's and very nice Banks in a 7. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍
Great cards! Ernie Banks has so many good looking cards. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Marcus! 100% agree!
Very nice '58 Banks...so clean!
Thanks, love the Banks card too!
Sending in 23 cards from the 60's and 70's too.I hope to get the same type of grades. Mostly 8's and 7's with a few 6's. Hopefully. Thanks for revealing your batch. Nice!!!!
Good luck! Please share when you get your return.
I’ll take a McCovey 2 all day long. One of my favs growing up.
I just found your channel. Great grades
Phil Niekro’s RC is actually the 1964 Topps with Phil Roof. As happened to several players of that era, Topps gave him the “double multi-player card” treatment. Lou Pinella had at least 3 of them before finally getting his own card in 1970.
Great insight, thanks! I did not realize that he had an earlier card.
1975 topps features a great Pete LaCork rookie!
I'm glad i found this. I'm new to the world of baseball cards I inherited my mother's and brothers baseball cards over 3 years ago and it's around 4000 cards dating back to the 50,s up to 1998 and i was wondering why my mother and brother had duplicates of cards in the plastic covers but was told to be careful with them if anything happened but not to let just anyone have them Because I were worth a lot of money
Very nice sub! You got some really nice grades on some vintage. Tough to do. I have been doing good with my grades during my preview videos compared to my reveals. I am nervous with a modern sub I have at PSA now. We shall see how that goes. Keep up the great videos. New subscriber here!
Do you use a jeweler’s loupe? On 1973 Topps the paper is pretty susceptible to flaking and can’t really be seen except under magnification. And PSA grades the invisible.
Appreciate the comment. I didn't realize the 73's had this paper issue. Probably why most of the subs have come back in the 6, 7 range.
@@ricksvintagecards I had a '73 Willie McCovey I was sure was a 10 based on the centering, but it got a 7. When I finally used a 10x loupe to examine it I saw PSA was right. It had a lot of paper loss at the corners.
Why didn't you send in that 67 Banks? You can see on the video that it would geade higher.
I've got near complete set of 67 topps and plan to send in around 30-40 at the same time. Those that are in great shape for grading. That'll be a fun reveal for those that love the 67 topps set.
As I am sure you have seen in other videos, PSA grading standards have gotten more difficult.
Can you tell me what PSA charges per card? thanks
Hey Carter, for the cards I submit they run $19 / card with a 20 card minimum submission. That pricing is available to PSA members which runs $100 per year. If you're only looking to submit a few cards and not add their membership, card grading runs $25 / card with no minimum. This assumes the card value is $499 or less. PSA charges a higher amount depending on the declared value of the card. Also note, pricing does not reflect shipping to and from so you'd need to take that into account as well. PSA's website has their pricing updated on their website on a regular basis.
